Why we are single? (the real reason)

Edit: Mitspa, it's more like I don't think it'd be wise to get involved w/ anyone atm, but I'm allowing God to intervene if He wants to do so :).

I do have some social anxiety, I do get nervous around people I dont know all that well, and I struggle to talk when around them. I even have this problem at work, when people want to have a conversation with me, I generally look away from them, and struggle to think of things to say. And when I do try to talk I forget words and studder over what Im trying to say sometimes. Its not really that horrible, but at times it can be difficult. There are a few people who I actually really do just naturally click with, like at work there was this 50 year old Catholic lady that I just felt really comfortable with, and we could just talk about anything. I have this same problem, that's kind of why I don't post on here very often. I will have an idea of what I want to say but I can't get it into words or something. Other time in the middle of talking I end up trying to say like two or three words at the same time and end up feeling like an idiot. Sometimes I physically can't respond to someone so I basically just end up ignoring them, it happens more so with people that I don't know. I have been improving a lot over the past year but being around a lot of people still makes me really nervous.

I think the reason im single is because just got out of a relationship that was hectic also coz i want a manly man who loves God knows what he wants and wont bore the hell out of me.is that too hard to ask

Mitspa, Mitspa, Mitspa... You just know somebody is going to have to blame God for it now. Just because you said that. And they will probably post cat pictures too.
 
Well, I'm not a very social person , so I'd have to be ambushed by a guy to start dating,
and if someone did ambush me I'd probably be more likely to run than embrace them so ... yeah ....

Would you describe yourself as quiet - even around people you know/that know you?

Lets have a honest thread... Ill start out... why am I single?

I kinda like things my own way and its hard for me to give away certain aspects of my liberty...(I have many more)

Hence is most likely why we are single if we are honest! But I mean it in a different sense. I mean, have we really learned to make Christ LORD over our lives therefore having learned all things Christ and exuding the love it takes to be selfless?

And you do the whole collectable toy thing..which I know don't mean someone cant get married, but im sure it really slows down the process :)

I really don't have a clue why I'm still single. As I grow older, I can see the benefits of it but sometimes I do long for that day to finally meet a nice girl and get married. My mind tells me I shouldn't force myself to "find" someone because then it will definitely be a long journey and the first girl I meet and fall in love with tells me she just wants to be friends or she's not even interested in me at all, my heart will be broken for at least a couple of months. So that's why I just try to live a good life and find a job real soon I guess. One thing at a time.

I tried being selfless and got slapped in the face for my effort.
