Why would God allow all corruption and sickness to occur?

I'm really not trying to purposely start anything, but it amazes me how there can be a God that expects people to believe and worship but at the same time lets all the bad things that could very well be prevented from happening. Kids dying from illnesses like cancer on a regular basis when they're trying to fight for their lives and have a future, people starving when in fact all the funds that are put into wars could stop world hunger in itself (a week's worth of war funding even would solve it).

I know it's going to be said that we're the ones who cause the suffering in this world and yeah for a good part you are right. But if God is just then why would he continue to let people needlessly suffer over a situation they had absolutely no control over? Especially young kids who have life threatening illnesses that many will not survive with (harsh reality). Can't he at least do something for them? If they are put into this world like the rest of us with a purpose then wouldn't it be something better and they need to be able to do instead of ending up in hospitals and/or left to die some place, or is that their purpose?... I've been thinking about this and I know it's the typical whining and that "I should get up and do something about it", but even then people can only do so much and it's not stopping much. It's not changing the reality of things, God doesn't even seem like he's doing anything to stop this. He's letting the victims pay the price when they didn't do anything to take it. How are you still even able to believe at this point knowing that it isn't you in these types of situations?

God didn't cause these issues, the sin and willful disobedience of human beings since the Garden of Eden have resulted in sickness and corruption.

God has given man free will . Your question has been an age old question,
and who can say God has not intervened in situations we don't know about?
Diseases have always been around. How can we blame God for what evil
people do to children? Hey, I have questioned just like you are, but it does
not make me feel I have the right to turn on God, when if I did, then my
soul is condemned to hell. I know how you feel. I hurt when I see suffering.
I wish I could take away all the evil in this world. Satan is working overtime
now. Please hold on. You have a long life ahead of you, yet you also have a

Well Think about it, Sin came into this world because of us, we brought Sin into this world, and we have the nerve to question God why all this corruption? evilness? Sickness?. You got to remember this world is not perfect. However God allows certain things to happen in hope to bring you out of these bad things. It's Not God fault why we sin, we sinned right from the start of our life. and that's our own fault. So you should be asking people why all this corruption, sickness? and own ourselves

IF you want God to save you from this sinful world, Just accept that he sent his son to pay for our sins on that cross where he dies for you, me, and the rest of the sinners. God is a God of love, Hence why he died for us. But it comes at a small tiny, little price from us. and that's acceptance.

It seems like nobody ever has an answer and yet still goes to follow something that they'd be afraid to be damned otherwise while we also suffer from things that he seems to just sit there and watch. He waiting for that right time, until ppl accept Christ as there Savior. I know how you feel, you wish he could come back today, or to get rid of all the bad, corruption and evilness. But if he did, there wont be much people saved if he did. So he is abiding time for people to come to him. But Since sin, is controlling people of this world, I guess the time will take probably longer.

There are ppl in this world of sin, that God is waiting for them to come to realisation and acceptance to what Jesus did for them on the cross.

So the short answer, to me, seems to be that God has not yet vanquished evil
and suffering because he is still building the Kingdom, and the process of doing
so is not mutually exclusive from the evil and suffering we
experience.

Don't see suffering as a curse. See it as an opportunity. God is testing people for their patience. If they pass the test their reward will be great. They will please God.

If you have an easy life you then need to worry why God is not giving you any opportunities to please God.

God cannot be summarised by a handful of verses in the bible.

God punishes and God rewards. Those kids that are starving when they see what extra is waiting for them, they would go through it all hundred times over. The apostles held onto this when they suffered some really bad deaths.

God has granted His creation free will. But, rest assured, the day is coming when those that have rejected Him will be judged and those that have accepted Him will be with Him forever. The earth will be judged, satan will be judged, man will be judged and only those in the Lamb's Book of Life will be saved.

All of the sick children are in a better place now, to be born and raised in the world we live in today, the temptations we face, to be taken to heaven innocent is a blessing in disguise I know it is hard to even imagine it that way but it is the truth and if we can only hope that someday we make it to heaven and get to see them in all their glory

The thing is -- God created everything for His own purpose(s) - for His own glory ( which He is perfectly entitled to ). He has the answer to everything. When the creation does not listen to the Creator -- there are consequences...

What you are very perfectly illustrating right now is exactly what people do --- [ in essence ] "shake their fist at God in anger, and not listen to what He is trying to tell them"...

If they would only listen --- they would understand...

The Bible contains the answer that you seek ( "guaranteed!" ) --- read it...

Don't be too hard on him. This is the conspiracy forum, and we get a lot of folks coming in who are ignorant about pretty much everything. I would say, chances are, he didn't read the full length of your post, and didn't realise you were talking about children. He might have thought you were one of those whiney people who come in, only thinking of themselves, with reference to the "suck it up" comment.

Jesus loves children, and I think the misery faced by those with illness and disease upsets Him greatly. At the same time, He knows that this life is only temporary, and if such examples of the seriousness of sin can draw even one man or woman to Him for eternity, it is worth the price.

When we view this life on Earth, we see what we see as if things will be like this forever. The truth is, eternity is so much longer and more significant than our time here, and for those who spend their eternity with Jesus, this is what He says.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Rev 21:4
