People have different personalities and thinking styles. This goes for both men and women.

What one person likes, another may not. What one person finds funny, another may not. And so on and so forth...

But everyone can improve their communication skills. People are not clarivoyant. We work with the information we have available. Good communication is desirable for balanced relationsihips. I agree with you.

Why won't guys tell you if they don't like something?

Not a guy, but maybe its just a matter of picking their battles.

It could be because of the way women sometimes react when a guy tells them they don't like something. ;)

Zero has touched a point there. Sometimes, if not, often times, this trail leads down a dark and narrow path that a man cannot escape from. Certain things can be taken or blown out of proportion. Just as another has commented, we pick our battles and judge whether or not we can come out of this complicated situation alive. Needless to say, there are whiners and complainers out there. You just so happen to stumble upon those that keep said dislikes to themselves and use their will and silence tactfully.

That, or the dude just doesn't want to complain.

Hmmm...I think zero may have hit on something. Maybe they think all women will react the same way.

Descyple: That made me LOL! :)

Well if the lady responds like this....

...that may explain certain things....

and if after "making her point" she does this....

But if she is like this....

then everything gonna be ok..

It might also be that in some cases a guy already knows all too well that complaining about a certain thing won't do a bit of good because he knows from past experience that the woman will just refuse to budge on the issue and bringing it up will do nothing more than aggravate the situation.

This usually applies to things that the guy thinks the woman needs to change, like maybe he thinks she's being overbearing or a nag or something.

Of course this can also go the other way (a woman not wanting to bring up an issue with a man).

sometimes we can look back and you say well these must be the reasons......yet you know they pushed you away in more ways than one...otherwise you would have to be the kind of person that

"loves them for who they are"

when people stop caring about what you like about them,it's an independence that you won't be able to get them to see......and they convince themselves your not a match...though i have to admit...we can point out too many things,to where it starts to become a reality

for me it's......what changes in that person from how i originally met them.....
and you wonder........

what people are really going through....

This sounds more like a communication problem on both parts. Saying "oh that's just men being men and women being women" sounds like a poor excuse for avoiding working through it.
One reason I'm not a huge fan of these "humorous" stereotypes. They almost encourage that type of non-communication as being normal...
