Mattithyah 16:27, “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His Malakim; and then He will reward every man according to his works.”

Yahchanan (John) 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."

Acts 17:30-31, “In the past Yahweh winked at such ignorance, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent! For He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by a Man whom He has ordained; and He has given evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

Romans 2:4-11, “Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not realizing that Yahweh’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But according to your stubborn and impenitent mind you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of Yahweh’s wrath, when the righteous judgment of Yahweh will be revealed; when He will reward each one according to his works: to the ones on the one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath.” Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai(Jew) first, and also to the Greek (Gentile) But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh.”

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

Colossians 3:24-25, “Knowing that from Yahweh you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve Yahshua the Messiah. But he who does wrong will receive the reward for the wrong he has done, and there is no respect of persons.”

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:17-18, “And if you call on the Father, Who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence. Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your fathers.”

Revelation 20:12-13, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Yahweh. And the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and Death and Sheol delivered up the dead which were in them. And they were judged, every man, according to their works.”

Revelation 22:12, “And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be.”

Yes both the saved and the lost as in....

1. Saved-->Sins covered under the blood, judged according to their works both good and bad to determine the amount of inheritance they get to keep....Jesus gets it all as he was the only one to fully keep the Law

2. Lost--->sins not covered and judged according to their works to determine the level of suffering they will receive in the lake of fire....Remember---It shall be MORE tolerable in the day of judgment for Sodom than the generation that rejected Christ when he walked the earth in flesh

Dcon, that is supposition. However much the bible hints at it, and I'll grant you it makes you wonder, it is not stated as fact.

It's the question I honestly don't want to answer because at the end it will speak against me if I don't heed the word while I still have time. Thanks for reminding.
I'm afraid this thread will soon flooded by wordings like the law and the flesh but I guess this is not the point of this thread.

yes we all will be but many make the mistake of thinking these works will make them right with god- it wont. why do we do these works? for salvation? to appear godly? or maybe we do it because as a loving christian we care about others? to the righteous in heart it was never about recieving rewards in heaven or doing so just because we are christians and thats what we do. are you really serving god by helping ppl but your heart isnt in it? or trying to build up treasures? or just trying to convince yourself your a good person? i believe he wil reward us by our works but i also think he will take into account the condition and motive of the heart

OTHER...

Non believers will be judged unto condemnation...

Revelation 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Believers will be judged unto rewards...

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The point is to repent and adhere to sound doctrine as written to hate sin and love righteousness in the very image of Yashuah

Hey Phil,

The bottom statement about Sodom and more tolerable proves that the lost will have varying degrees of suffering..
1st Corinthians 3 and the works of the saved being put to fire and the difference made between gold, silver and precious stones as opposed to wood hay and stubble which will be burnt----->yet they shall BE SAVED SO AS BY FIRE...saved with few to no works as opposed to saved with works of Gold Silver and Precious stones not to mention the following...

Thrones around the THRONE 24 to be exact given to those worthy
Crowns to be won (not by all)<---although all could obtain if they meet the standards set by God
ruler over 10 cities to ruler ship over nothing, the talents and who gets what etc.

I believe the point stands mi amigo :)

Saved people are not judged. They have already accepted God's judgment and God's reconciliation. They have been redeemed by the atoning blood of Christ.

Those standing before the Great White Throne in Revelation are all judged for their works and all condemned. The believer is standing in the multitude behind the throne not in front of it.

Christ took my place in the judgment hall. Christ accepted my penalty for sin. I have been given His righteousness and I have Christ ever interceding before the Father on my behalf.

For the cause of Christ

The way I see this is that the only people who will be judged are those who are alive during the 1000 year rule of Christ. Everyone else prior to the 1000 year rule will be sorted as either goats or sheep, if your do not know Christ you are not getting in, end of story.

To say otherwise, is to go against what Christ said. Good works will not get you into heaven.

What you say is biblical and true, for when we go to Christ, we are saved, we are wiped clean, what is in our yesterday is wiped out. There is, however, another truth that must be factored in.

Rev_2:23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.

We are also told that no thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, or robbers will enter the kingdom. This is talking about works, this is just as powerful a scripture as any other scripture. From this we know that a Christian repents of sin, turns their life around to be away from sin, and goes to Christ.

If you believe in one scripture, you must believe in all scripture. We are not to use our fleshly reason to get around any of it, but accept what scripture tells us, all of it.

The only "work" that really matters is whether you've accepted Yeshua/Jesus. If you have, then you won't be judged. If you haven't then you will be based on all your other works.

That's why I chose "Other"

Sheep/Goats how they treated one of the least of these my Brethren (Jewish believers during the 7yr. Tribulation).
Ehhh, that's my smidge bit of end times knowledge. :)

It takes more than accepting Jesus as God, we must act on that knowledge. Demons know all about Jesus.

James_2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe--and shudder.

Luke_4:41 Demons also came out of many, shouting, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Messiah.

God does not grade on the curve. It's 100% or 0%.
If we are judged by our works and have broken one point ...one iota ...of the Law, we have broken the WHOLE LAW because the Law is a whole unit not to be piece mealed.
As for me and my house, our hope is in Jesus Christ and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS .
Those without Christ will be found naked in their own filthy rags of works righteousness.

"Fool! Would you not like to know that
faith without deeds is useless?

You see now that it is by deeds, and not only by believing, that someone is justified.

As a body without a spirit is dead, so is faith without deeds."

- James: 2

These are bible truths, but the conclusion drawn from those truths is not the truth!

If we break any piece of the law we must have Christ. In fact, just because we are born in sin we must have Christ. Christ and His grace is our only hope. We can't make it by our works, if we try they are like filthy rags.

This is not the end of the teachings of scripture about this, and we can't ignore any part of scripture. We can know Christ, we can use Christ in our life for many things, even cast out demons through Christ, and that is not what brings us into the kingdom. What does that is to take our sins to Christ for forgiveness after we repent. Then show our love through obedience.

By not including this step, all the wonderful truths you list are not truth.

Whoever is teaching you is successfully drawing you into deeper confusion.
How much of ''then show our love through obedience.'' must you show until you have assurance that your saved? That's works righteousness at it's best. I guess you'll have room to boast.
And we don't take our sins to Christ after we repent. Rather repenting involves taking our sins /confessing them to Christ...again confusion.
