I believe in the Rapture. I also believe that without the Holy SPirit remaining there will be no Word. "In the beginning was the Word..." John 1:1. Blank pages and blank stares of frightened people. I know I'll go. Scares me some to see those people possibly perish. Demons are here now. Then they will probably have the power they once did. Dark magic will reign even darker. And the light will diminish.

How has any Christian been able to endure anything............by His grace. We will not be adversely affected by the wrath as were not the Israelites of Goshen Egypt during the exodus. Even the portion who will be behead will be under such grace they will not fear. The portion snatched up experience the same grace give to mother Miriam Hebrew name (Mary English) and will not be martyred as she was not. They are charged as she was to bring forth the Male Child but now in a spiritual manner but with the same effect upon the world.Rev.12.
You people just don't get it! Below is a summary of the events of God's wrath via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments:

1st seal/rider on the white horse = Figuratively representing the revealing of the antichrist

2nd Seal/Rider on the red horse
= Given power to take peace from the earth so that men kill each other

3rd Seal/Rider on the black horse = Figuratively represents world-wide famine

4th Seal/Rider on the pale green horse = Death and Hades given power to kill a fourth of the earths population (over 1.7 billion)

6th Seal = Great earthquake, sun darkened, moon turned blood red, heaven opened seeing God on His throne and call to the mountains and the rocks to fall on them to hide them from the face of Him who sits on the throne. The people of earth will be terrified!

7th Seal = Silence for about half hour, angels are given their trumpets, prayers are offered up to God on behalf of the saints

1st Trumpet
= A third of the earth and trees are burned up. Along with that will be an unknown number of fatalities and that because you cannot have a third of the earth and trees being burned up without human fatalities.

2nd Trumpet = An object that comes through the earths atmosphere and hits in one of the oceans killing all of the creatures in that body of water equaling a third over all the earth. All of the ships in that body of water are destroyed equaling a third over all the earth. Both will be the result of the giant waves that will be result from that object hitting in that body of water. How many people on those ships? How many cities on the coasts of that body of water for 36 degrees? How many people in those cities? Getting the picture?

3rd Trumpet = A third of the rivers and fresh drinking water is contaminated and many people die from drinking it. How many is many?

4th Trumpet = a third of the sun, moon and stars are darkened by a third, so that the earth will only be receiving two thirds of its natural light both night and day. There are no fatalities reported here, but I believe that it is setting the mood for trumpets 5, 6 and 7 which are referred to as "woes."

5th Trumpet/1st woe
= A star represented by an angel, opens the Abyss and releases demonic beings representing locusts from out of the Abyss. There are no fatalities here, as they are commanded to only torment the inhabitants of the earth with tails and stings like that of a scorpion. Only the 144,000 are exempt from this trumpet.

6th Trumpet/2nd woe = Four evil angels are released from the area of the Euphrates who gather a demonic army of 200 million killing a third of mankind via fire, smoke and sulfur. The 4th combined with the 6th trumpet would equal fatalities well over half the earths population.

7th Trumpet/3rd woe
= Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven and restricted to the earth during the entire last 3 1/2 years of that seven year period: "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! But woe (3rd woe) to the earth and the sea; with great fury the devil has come down to you, knowing he has only a short time.”

Wait, there's more!

1st Bowl = Ugly painful sores break out on those who worship the image of the beast and receive his mark

2nd Bowl = All of the ocean waters are turned into literal blood

3rd Bowl = All of the rivers and fresh water is turned into blood (except for the Euphrates)

4th Bowl
= The sun is given power to scorch the inhabitants with intense heat, searing them

5th Bowl = The kingdom of the beast is plunged into spiritual darkness and they gnaw their tongues in anguish because of their sores.

6th Bowl = The Euphrates river is dried up to make wat for the kings of the east to cross over. The demonic spirits of the dragon, beast and false prophet go throughout the earth to gather the kings and their armies for battle at Armageddon, where they will all be killed by that double-edged sword.

7th Bowl
= The strongest earthquake on the earth since the history of mankind, takes place which causes the cities of the nations to collapse and which also causes the mountains and the islands to disappear. There will also be hail stones falling from the sky weighing 75 to 100 lbs. falling on those who are left on the earth.

The above is not including the plagues that the two witnesses bring upon the earth. By the time the Lord returns after the 7th Bowl has been poured out, there will only be about 10% of the earths population left. This would coincide with what Jesus said regarding that last 3 1/2 years, that "unless those days were shortened, no one would be left alive."

And you think that the Lord is going to leave His church on the earth for all of this?

Its not the church that will be removed but the whole corrupted creation .Corruption does not inherit the incorruptible .Its the reason He corrupted it in the first place. having created two beginnings as Genesis's.

Some pastors say yes the Holy Spirit will leave the earth after the Rapture of the Church. I believe the Holy Spirit will not leave. Why? Because the bible teaches us that people will be saved after the Rapture of the Church and during "The Great Tribulation."

The rapture takes place after the resurrection of the dead in Christ, at His coming.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

  • that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

The resurrection comes first
Then the Rapture

Then all those who are Christ's will be caught together in the air above the earth with Christ, in the air.

  • And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

While all His people are gathered together with Him, safely above the earth, then the wicked will be destroyed, starting with the antichrist.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

  • and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

I'm not going over my interpretation of the seals, but let me straighten you out on a few things.

1. The antichrist isn't revealed until much later in the book.
2. The first seal represents "holy war" and the rider is Muhammad.
3. You misunderstand the fourth seal. It does not say 1/4th of the earths population is killed. It simply states he has power to do so over 1/4 of it...a region.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Pale is better translated pale green and implies being "sickly." Muslims embrace death. They're under the presumption of receiving 72 virgins in paradise for dying in jihad. The number of virgins they get is dependent upon the level of their abomination. Flying jet planes into buildings is an example of such an abomination. Islam can easily be labeled as a demonic and a "sick" religion, especially when they will use some of the most horrific means to obtain their goals.

These are some of the conditions brought upon by the horrific means of Islamic jihad or the "holy war" depicted in the first seal.

The words "to kill with sword, hunger, death and beast," are literal. I say they are all Islamic because Islam is the only religion capable of bringing this to pass. ISIL has been known to behead children in front of their parents who wouldn't convert. Honor killings are an abomination common in Islam.

To kill with hunger...
Starving people to death by withholding food is a old weapon. Today it's used by Muslims in several countries especially in Northern Africa. In the future, it wouldn't surprise me to see ISIL starve people to death who refuse to convert.

To kill with sword,
The sword is Islam's favorite weapon and beheading is the preferred method of persecution in the book of Revelation. Muslim's cut the heads off of their own family in honor killings why should we be surprised that ISIS is doing it today? Even today there are stadiums full of people watching an honor killing in the Islamic world.

To kill with beast...
This is the murder of people by wild animals who Islam labels as "infidels." They will throw people to the lions and put it on video like they are custom to do. A video of wild animals in an amphitheater type setting will happen once again in our day. This is the restoration of the ancient art of Babylonian persecution in the 21st century. "Conquering the infidel" will become a televised Islamic form of 21st century entertainment. ISIS is already doing it's recruiting and be-heading videos. Maybe they'll just tie up someone in the middle of the wilderness and let the wild animals go at them.

To kill with death...
This is probably suicide bombings or biological terrorism. To eliminate infidels by intentionally infecting them with a disease like ebola, small pox, or anthrax etc., is just an abomination. Saddam did it. Muslim's will sacrifice their own Children in holy war. The New Mexico Muslim's recently arrested are proof of that. ISIL has already blown up the baby of a woman who wouldn't convert in a training video. In the devils religion of Islam, the father is often the one who throws the first stone in the honor killing of his own daughter.

God doesn't remove anybody until Christ returns to do battle.

False. The 1st seal is representing the antichrist. He is the counterfeit of the rider on the white horse in Rev.19:11-21 who is the Lord. The seals, trumpets and bowl judgments take place in chronological order. Therefore, the revealing of the rider on the white horse, which is the antichrist, takes place first.

2. The first seal represents "holy war" and the rider is Muhammad.
There is no where in scripture that supports the first seal as being Muhammad nor as being a holy war.

3. You misunderstand the fourth seal. It does not say 1/4th of the earths population is killed. It simply states he has power to do so over 1/4 of it...a region.
I didn't misunderstand anything. When it says that death and hades are given power over a fourth of the earth to kill, that is exactly what it means. It is the same with the 6th trumpet where those angels and their army is given power to kill a third of the earth. All you are providing is a well known apologetic, which I've heard before.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Pale is better translated pale green and implies being "sickly."
Pale Green is exactly what I wrote in my post. And it does not imply sickly, but the fourth of the earths population is being killed exactly by the way mentioned, "with sword (2nd seal), by famine (3rd seal) and the reference to wild beasts of the earth may be God taking away the fear of mankind so that they begin to attack.

To kill with hunger...

It is not Islam. The scripture says that it will be famine in various places world-wide.

To kill with sword,
The sword is Islam's favorite weapon and beheading is the preferred method of persecution in the book of Revelation. Muslim's cut the heads off of their own family in honor killings why should we be surprised that ISIS is doing it today? The scripture states that this red horse is given power to take peace "from the earth," so that men kill one another. That is world-wide and not just restricted to Islam. All you're doing is repeating one of the false teachings that are out there, because I've heard it before.

God doesn't remove anybody until Christ returns to do battle.
By claiming that the church isn't removed until Christ returns to the earth, you are ignoring the fact that it would put the church through the entire wrath of God. You would also be at a loss to explain how the bride/church is seen in heaven at the wedding of the Lamb receiving her fine linen and following Christ out of heaven, ergo, if the bride/church is following Christ out of heaven, then they would already have to be in heaven.

You don't know what you are talking about and you should be teaching these things.

The tribulation started when Jesus ascended. It crescendoed for the Jews in 70 AD, and will do so again for the gentiles soon. The manifestations of Revelation aren't anything the world has not seen before, what's different is the convergence and severity of said events.

To answer the op, the Holy Spirit is eternal. He existed before Christ and will exist with Him during the millennium and on the new earth. Something that is eternal cannot cease to be.
