i am a shy girl and feel inferior,I am not feeling well speaking in front of people.I always worry about how people think about me,whether i look riduculous? Praise Lord,God teach me message like" i am beloved child of God,previous pearl in His hand!"i feel much better. However, the inferiority rooted in my heart such a long time that it's not so easy to take off.I want to know how i can do next to be more confident and act more like God's child with joy/assurance.Thank you for your sharing. ;-)

I was very, very shy when I was younger. Truth be known we probably all have times when we feel inferior to others.

I don't know what your answer is, but I know that you're on the right path in trusting God with the matter.

Find friends who enjoy your company. Find people with similar interests and have a blast! Encourage each other! :) Life is best lived with others. Practice saying 'hello' and conversation with friends. ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER!!!! <3 ;)

I've found that trying to help other people really helps me. In fact, the Bible verse about "give, and it will be given unto you" applies in many situations. Not just giving money or items, but if you talk to other shy people and tell them how much Jesus loves them and cares for them, it can help you to not be as shy yourself, partly because you made yourself talk to someone which helps you face your fears, and partly because when you tell someone else that they are loved and aren't inferior it reminds you that the same is true for you also :). It also helps because if you talk about the Lord Jesus, it's a way of drawing near to Him, which draws Him nearer to you (James 4:8) :).

I've been giving this some thought and, I don't know about you, but I'm far more talkative about things I'm really interested in, even though I'm a pretty quiet person. I love talking with people about the Lord, police work, photography, music, dance, etc.

What are your interests? Are there Bible studies available? Classes you could take? Clubs you could join in your areas of interest that might help draw you out of your shell?

To be more confident maybe you can try to put goals and acomplish them, small goals to prove yourself that you can do it.
Maybe you can start with a very small thing that you know you are able to to in a short time and when you acomplish it then put yourself another goal a little bit bigger and then another little bit bigger.

And remember that "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" so you only need to search inside you and put in practice the courage that God already put in you when He created you.

Or rather, you are shy because you feel inferior. I struggle with feelings of inadequacy as well. In a message from pastor Greg Laurie I heard earlier tonight, you'll probably never be completely content with yourself on either the inwardly nor the outwardly; worry is just something that gives small things of tomorrow a big shadow, as he put it.

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is it's own trouble." ~ Mathew 6:34

Its a great feeling to know God has shown you the next step in your life. And when it comes to interpersonal communication we have to remember to be patient because we're not meant to be the same.

We as Christians accept each other & our individuality & the children of the world don't realise the harm when they don't let you be yourself. So when you meet people remember they may be children who have lost their way. If their behavior is negative it is not you who is flawed but the followers of the world who don't understand how they may hurt you with their behavior.

Have faith in God, the followers of the world don't know how to. So try to love them & their flaws so that we can share His word with them. Maybe knowing this will help you as much as it helps me.

God Bless you Hello Backy! :D

I was watching an interview with Michael J. Fox. He has Parkinsons and shakes a lot.

He said once he quit taking himself so seriously, he was able to act again and get on camera.

Ultimately we have to be like him. Quit taking our imperfections so seriously and have some fun with yourself.

They showed a clip of him in a show, where the character asks him to get a can of pop. Fox's character hands the pop to him. As the pop is opened, the pop spews all over the place. The guy asks Fox's character, "Did you do that on purpose?"

If Fox took himself so seriously he wouldn't have gotten that job. So yeah, let's learn to take ourselves less seriously.

I am very very shy, and i have feelings of being inferior most if not all of the time.... However talking to me you would never be able to tell. I come off as confident and comfortable with myself....

however even though i may feel a certain way, i dont have to react or respond to those feelings. So i can feel inferior but God says im not so i dont have to present myself as inferior or shy
