God made men and women equal but different for different roles. Men look after the current generation and women look after the future generation. The role of a preacher is generally to tend to the current generation as a shepherd tends to his flock.


edited to say: then, of course, we must know that Pastors pastor a congregation...............be it in a free standing building OR in their homes ....... Home Church congregations are more and more popular these days.........just saying.......

And in Biblical times, many of the congregations met in "homes" ie: Pricilla's and Aquila's home where they BOTH Pastored, preached, taught men............in a "more perfect way" of the Gospel

We dont need in depth studies we need to get our heads clear and our uderstanding sure. It would be a shame to continue looking like idots while the Holy Spirit is grieved because we lean to our own understanding instead of seeking his truth. It is then that the ELDERS of the church should PRACTICE their pure religion. Go to the widows home and TEACH THE fatherless....

And the Bible adds how these fatherless MEN should be taught and WHAT they should be taught.... By whom? BE ANY MAN THAT PRACTISE PURE RELIGION AND VISIT THE WIDOWS AND FATHERLESS....

The Church of God has elders ABLE TO TEACH, and they d it in Church and at the homes of the fatherless and widows. What an AWESOME God we serve. Hs church is truly PERFECT! He HIMSLEF maintain and appoint the office bearers to CARE for His church. Amen!

God does not need women to fill posts in His church, he has enough men to do so. It is like using a small car to transport a whole basketball team, when you have a huge bus to use. God appoint FIT and ABLE teachers to teach the WHOLE church. Elders (teachers), pastors, evangelists, prophets, apostles... ALL MEN (accept for some women prophets that may prophecy to other younger women how to submit to their husbands). Remember all prohecies has to be in line with Scripture,,, So even the women prohecying will have to be in line with Scripture. If it is NOT in line with Scripture it is EVIL speaking...


So there that should answer you your question. Timothy was NOT taught b Hs grandmother and mother, and his gift of God did NOT come by the upbringing of two GODLY WOMEN, it ws given the moment PAUL layed hands on him. God HIMSELF is the ONLY teacher... Why do people think others can teach? Like my dear friend PAstac here, HE CANNOT TEACH... COBUS CANNOT TEACH.... Even if I am elder and APT TO TEACH... the APT is not me it is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in me is the ONLY TEACHER that can teach.


This is how God teach..... The Word of God is given... The moment Jesus opened His mouth to bring the Gospel, God REVEALED ALL the hidden Words and revelations of God. When Jesus started to TEACH, God strted to reveal Himslef to us through Jesus. This revelation of God is the ONLY TRUTH we will EVER know.

My friend, look who Paul adress when he says YE ALL CAN PROPHESY.... Verse 26... HOW IS IT THEN BRETHREN... IF ANY MAN SPEAK.... FOR YE (brethren and men) may all prophesy ONE BY ONE... And let the PROPHETS (not prophetesses) speak two or three (one by one) ...and let the OTHER MEN JUDGE....

Do not lose the fact that Paul was ONLY adressing the BRETHREN... and that is why he says... YE CAN ALL PROPHESY... not menaing women... YE (as in the BRETHREN) It is IPOSSIBLE to prophecy and keep silent... Come on it is even understnadable for my 10 year old daughter.... She inderstands this it is only the ignorent that DO not WANT to know this... the spirit of ERROR.

And then PAul speaks about the women.... LET THE YOUR WOMEN KEEP SILENCE IN THE CURCHES... not one church... ALL CHURCHES... And this verse will still be here when there is no more ignorant anywhere!

To leave out the word YE before ALL CAN PROPHESY is to change the meaning to suit women to talk in church... Paul says how is it then BRETHREN ... YE CAN ALL PROPHESY... do NOT twist Scripture, it is EVIL to do so....

the Apostle Paul had so many women assisting him in his ministry, it's easy to lose count of them all............

Some seem to think that having a "head" means that you don't do anything, or cannot work. As many have pointed out, women taught throughout the NT. But, as the NT also points out, that men (of God) are to lead in the church. We are not subject to rules of worldly men unless those rules are in sync with the Laws of God.

Christ is our "head" and we are all subject to Him. Men are the "head" of their wives. We dishonor Christ when we do things differently than He has told us. Wives dishonor their husbands when they do differently than their husbands have told them. The problem is that men are men and don't always do what their "Head" (Jesus) wants him to do.

Women are not to lead the church or hold authority in the church. This does not mean that they cannot work. Women are great workers. And many times it is a woman who reminds the man that he has obligations and a role to play as a leader in the church and family. Women should be helpers. And the church, being the bride/wife, should be helpers for Christ.

Just because we live in a society that does not recognize this, does not mean that it is not true.

The entire subject has been misquoted, misstated, and down right not answered, I do wonder what each of us will tell the one with the fire in His eyes when we stand before Him and have to give an account of what we did and in what Spirit did we do it, did we do it in a Spirit of edification and love? This is one of those subjects that Paul warned us about, don't discuss that which has absolutely no value, it has nothing to do with salvation, let the ignorant remain ignorant, how much more are we going to chase our tails in a circle until we get dizzy?

Fact, if women want to preach, let them do so with the blessings of God, for one day they will answer to God and then they will know what was right or wrong. For those of us we should be still and bare it for the blood was spilt for the women also, and if it is a thorn, then don't go to that Church or organization and please bless it, again for Christ and not us. They are servants of our God and there is only one God or not? It is a simple thing, who are we to judge God's servant? We are walking on very thin ice, and we should work our own salvation in fear and trembling.
