A close friend of mines husband left to pay his respect to one of his baby mothers family members death and has not return home to his wife. This was 7 months ago. The husband is constanly telling his wife hes coming back home but has not returned yet.

Lord let this man return to his wife, and also bless this family . in Jesus name, Amen!

The Lord tries to lead each of us to do the right things to make our lives as good as possible. Some people listen and some don't.

Lord, thank You that You are working together this situation for the good of those who love You. You can bring beauty from heartache and blooms from rainy days. In Christ's Name Amen.

First, it isn’t clear if your friend or her husband are Christians and that makes a difference both in their mindsets and in their ability to take guidance from God and from godly people. She is in a difficult place and must feel abandoned and rejected. She could use some counseling for sure. In reality, her husband has deserted her, and though I know nothing about their marriage, I can tell you that this alone goes against everything in scripture about how a husband is to treat his wife. If this is a pattern, then nothing will change until he wants to work on the marriage with her. This behavior must stop. She doesn’t need to have a victim mentality – she needs to communicate her feelings to him and tell him this behavior is unacceptable. He must make a choice. At best he is being childish and irresponsible, at worst he may be cheating on her and depending on her continuing to accommodate this. None of this is God’s will or His fault. We live in a fallen world, we depend on Him to give us strength to go on, strength to do what is right, strength to do the hard things in spite of temptation. Our part is to ask for His help in a world currently run by the enemy. I pray she will feel God’s love ad comfort. Please let me know if she needs a referral to a Christian counselor. My prayers for strength, comfort and wisdom go out to her.

The answer to your question she is a christian and the husband is not a christian.

Then maybe God is freeing her from this marriage because God says if an unbeliever leaves, let them leave. The person is free to divorce and remarry if they choose. Especially if the unbeliever is cheating.
