For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself
Galatians 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Galatians 5:7 Ye did run well who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth
Galatians 5:8 This persuasion cometh not of Him that calleth you.
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Galatians 5:10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
Galatians 5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
Galatians 5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty, only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh but by love serve one another.

Galatians 5:23 Meekness, temperance, against such there is no law.

I would think in all cases we are to defend that which defends us as the armor of God. And be ready at all times in season and out to guard the faith. And not keep signs and wonders .. we are to not wonder not but rather believe as it is written.
I would think offer them the words original meaning and then foundation it was set up from .The foundation in most cases is established in the old .Like the manner of prophecy called tongues
There are many that add or substract from one word which changes the context .And in doing so turn it upside down and remove the intended understanding coming from the Holy Spirit. It would seem a popular practice with those who have what they call a sign gift. sign and wonder seekers who practice self edification. .Out ward signs are to confirm unbelief .Prophecy the tongue of God belief or faith

1 Doth not wisdom cry out, and understanding put forth her voice?
2 She standeth at the top of high places, by the wayside where the paths meet.
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors:
4 “Unto you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom; and ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear, for I will speak of excellent things, and the opening of my lips shall be of right things;
7 for my mouth shall speak truth, and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold;
11 for wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and disclose knowledge of learned thoughts.

20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment,
21 that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance, and I will fill their treasuries.
22 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abounding with water.
