I've always been the type to express thoughts in writing. It's the same with prayers. I always can go deeper with a pen and paper. Does it matter when it comes to praying? God already knows what we are thinking before we even say it or write it. People have been telling me to get in serious prayer with God but since I'm more of a pen and paper type person, was wondering if that would make a difference.
 
I'll write prayers, I think they're just as valid. Maybe more so in that your mind is even more focused on them. And it shares with the person just what you are praying for them. Write as you pray as you write, and may the Spirit give your fingers the words as they are needed.
 
I think God wants to communicate with you in whatever way makes you most focused on him :)
 
Sometimes when I have a difficulty in praying aloud, I find it easy to write prayers. After that, I just read it out aloud.

You are right. God wants us to communication with us in any way as long as it brings us closer to Him. :)
