On a serious note...

Isn't that the way our faith seems to work though? The things that the world sees as disadvantages God seems to like to use as advantages. I'm going to rant....:oops:

I always believed that children born with physical and mental disabilities have some of the purest hearts as children. They are honest to a fault, if that's even possible. They'll forgive in a moment without questioning it. Even forgiving people who are deliberately cruel to them. There's a natural light to them, it's built in. I think these are God's way of showing us adults what a child like faith looks like, what true forgiveness looks like. They seemed to me to be called to be a light for us, and it's built in them. That's why Satan attacks them most. Of course, the world will eventually harden them and they'll lose that light. I think that these children born with physical and mental disabilities are meant to be a special light for the world, by God's design, and that's why the world hates them so much and wants to put that light out.



Anyways, Some signs of autism as an adult. 1) Difficulty understanding social cues, facial expressions, or other people's feelings. 2) Preference for solitude and challenges in maintaining friendships. 3)Strong reliance on predictable daily routines and literal thinking.

Bingo! I can go down the list and says yep, yep, yep...

I've always been very gullible. That may be the flip side of having an analytical mind. That doesn't play out very well in a neighborhood that prides itself on "hustling", or busting chops, for that matter.

I would prefer to be a mountain man. Wildlife doesn't scare me, but people do. But that would be an "under the table" life, and that's not our calling.

I first knew my aunt Elenor when I was already 7 years old. I thought she was a wonderful person and I liked her immediately. She was kind and a good friend

She was visiting my immediate family with her parents, my grandparents. I did not see her aagain unti I was 14, when it dawned on me that she was special. In the 1950s it was still ok to refer to her as retarded, and what was wrong with that, all it meant was she wa held back in what we call knowledge. I loved her even more. What a a woman.

Yes! She was special, a child and full of love. So what you believe seems to hold a lot of weight. Also, in my prayers I ask to always be a child in our Father's eyes, amen.

There are different levels of Autism, Each person with Autism is at a different level. Some are so mild that people cannot tell that they have Autism.. Indeed many people with mild Autism do not know they have it. They assume their own oddities are just their own personal traits, some suspect they are different to other people but simply assume they are eccentric in one way or another.. Some people have great difficulty establishing long term husband/ wife / father/ mother relationships..

But as for scripture.. Yes some pick up more information and can compare different verses from different books in the Bible.. But in the end the Ultimate and dependable source of understanding the Scriptures comes from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Without the leading of the Holy Spirit no one is able to have deeper understanding of scripture no matter if one is ""Normal"" or Autistic or whatever other mental state / condition people find themselves as..

Well women are seen as the 'weaker sex' by men, or at least in the Bible and so, I guess we get brains/beauty to make up for disadvantage of lack of biceps/brawn

Signs of being female/feminine - 1) can operate BOTH hemispheres of the brain 2) can multitask 3) can reach higher octaves in general when singing.


I mean aside from the obvious physical characteristics like the ability to grow and carry a baby inside our bodies.
 
Aspergers syndrome used to be recognised as a thing but it has been absorbed into the mainstream now.

Doctors would call children that showed signs of it 'little professors'

Autism is seen as a 'spectrum' now, of many colours, a spectrum is basically a rainbow but as its been associated with LGBTQ who people aren't quite sure what to make of. Autistic people also seen as 'queer' i.e odd.

Some more letters have been added to LGBTQ now there is I for intersex, and A for asexual. Not Autistic.

I personally think its silly to lump people into categories, but then there is now non-binary. People used to say 'guys' denoting both boys and girls, but its been a while since that was popular in the 80s to refer to everyone as a guy to avoid having to separate boys from girls. Unisex clothing was also a thing.

Just treat everyone the same regardless of gender. Now it seems it's gone the other extreme. Now everyone has a letter.

However you get some Christians who insist on gender, race and class divisions. Just snobbery really.

No, I was never diagnosed. I don't have health care and haven't had it for about twenty five years. Obama's government heath care was $260.00 a month with a $6000.00 deductible. Thanks Barak. :oops: But I do get fined for not having it sometimes. Only liberals could tax the poor in the name of helping them. Anyways, some in the family have been tested. I tried taking online tests but don't have the patience for it. It was a lot of repetitive questions asked in slightly different ways. I can only assume that was to eliminate coincidences. I just got bored. But, the symptoms, of which I named only a few, it's too perfect a match. I've been looking for answers my whole life, nothing ever fit like this.

It's like the guy who went to the doctors and said, "Doc, I broke my arm in two places". The Doctor replied, "don't go to those places anymore."

There's nothing I can do about it now. I've already learned to live with it. I don't need a doctor to tell me that. Even if it's not autism, it's something that has all the exact same symptoms. Symptoms that I've had to deal with my whole life. Maybe when I get on Medicare/Medicaid I'll check it out. Right now would be just a waist of money.

I think the left-right theory is mostly a myth, but women do process things differently than men do. This feminist rampage that's running through Hollywood these days to indoctrinate women, it's getting old fast. You cannot watch anything without women being portrayed as victims and fighting to show how strong and capable they are.

I helpful hint for you ladies. Take it with a grain of salt. A woman who uses the words 'strong and capable' in any capacity will send most men running in the opposite direction. Not that we're against strong and capable women. I think the strongest women that I've known in my life were also some of the most feminine, but they never had to say it, you just knew. But anyways, a woman who needs to make everyone aware of it all the time is a big red flag. Smart men will run. 2 cents and a microphone, where it's at,....

What you're doing with gender is similar to how atheists try to attach their definition of the word 'love' and then apply that definition to Biblical passages that use the same word. In this day and age, with the redefining of words (the Marxists strongest weapon), we should be careful. The Bible qualifies the word 'love' and defines it as patient, and kind, not self seeking, does not rejoice in sin, however, does rejoice in truth.... BTW, Jesus is Truth, His Word is truth. So encouraging someone in sin is the Biblical most hateful thing that a person can do. Why? Because sin enslaves and destroys, and the Truth sets them free.

Likewise, that statement by Paul is also tempered by the rest of the Bible. what he said there had a specific purpose. Paul also said that wives should submit to their husbands, and keep silent in the Church. That's just a small sample. Before you set your hair on fire, you should know that a man is put in a position of authority as head of the household to serve, not to self serve. The only thing feminism is doing for todays women is removing all the privileges that were in place because of chivalry. In short, from a perspective of advantage and loss, todays feminism is mostly a trip down, not up.

When I look back on my childhood, I remember things like the different colored and shaped building blocks that came in a cardboard tube with metal caps that you could purchase in any toy store, I quickly lost interest in them because there wasn't enough of any one color to build anything all the same color. A lot of little things like that. Plus some bigger things.
 
Most everyone I meet as a Christian I treat as a brother or a sister, and if they are elder maybe mother, (if female), I already have my own dad/father but of course God is THE Father.

I have been freed from slavery so thank God for that.

I am neither Jew nor Greek --lol

Paul's point was that all believers have equal access and standing in Christ. I would not carry that definition beyond that, especially with the ideas of "non binary" would not apply. There are still men and women. We have Biblical roles, and each comes with it's own troubles. The fall...
