"Your cologne's overpowering," and other LINES used to end a date dead in its tracks

What lines have you used, or, had used on you, that effectively ended your time with someone on a date?

Ever commented on their bowling game, suddenly ?

Ever found their at-first, cool tie, suddenly, ghastly?

What did ya say to kick them to the curb and how did you say it? Did you say it in love like Jesus would do?

Also, what did he/she say or, do, to you to elicit such a raw response

And, remember, Jesus, in love, of course, , spoke quite harshly to the 'brood of vipers' pharasees who tried to degrade him, when He was a man on earth :)

Be polite, please, there are young Christian ears listening :)

age of knowledge: As she prattled on endlessly about all of the bad things people had ever done to her and how aweful and evil her last boyfriend was and everything that he had ever done magnified throughout the FIRST date while painting herself as an angelic victim, I just got up wordlessly and left and went home then called up someone else and made plans for the next night. Not sure how it turned out for her... lol. Oh well, she must have added me to her very long and lengthy list I suppose. I wasn't a Christian at the time.

Not to say you're doing it all wrong, AOK, but, i think God calls us to date who He wants us to date, for some purpose, and, we are to know that leaving early may or MAY NOT be His intended 'good works,' think Eph. 2:10. Think Romans 8:28 , too At the least, I would ask her about God, why she feels that way, maybe, she was a victim. Girls cry out that way, sometimes, hey, I call that a good start to the date, IF the guy will feel led to try and understand her emotionalism.

You may find that feeling of dislike toward her last boyfriend was just a front to see how you would handld emotiinalism. I mean, if she has a strady job, goes to church, and, saw something humorous in you enough to go on a date she must have some good qualities. Some might even go so far as to say, she has qualities like you . :)

To me, every situation in life is God providing us chances to increase our faith in Him. He provides the increase, we just GO , use what opportunity /talents He gives us to do things, and, what we do,cwe should always do for His glory.

So, I am not sure what was meant by leaving her, AOK, and, going on another date the next night. Are you saying you have girls lined up to go out with you ?? Or??

But, yeah, when God gives the single a date, KNOW it's YOURS to do what you want, think Parable of the Talents, but, good will happen IF you go use and be thankful of His talent(s) given you, or, bad, if you 'bury' your talent(s) in the ground.
God has you THERE for a reason, so, IF you are going to enx a date with a line , make certain it is an HONEST ANSWER. Alright, Abe ;)
