Ooooooor marrying a bunch of......women???

Ok yeah :(

Competitive eating

:D

Well I suppose that is a step up from marrying and killing a bunch of men/animals.

Well killing animals wouldn't be so bad, but marriage would imply other things... I digress.

EL-HAJJ MALIK EL-SHABAZZ (1925-1965)
We in the Western world know him as Brother Minister Malcolm X, considered one of the most influential African-American leaders and one of the greatest orators who ever lived. While King preached non-violent resistance against Whites during the 1960's Civil Rights era, Malcolm X taught oppressed Blacks to defend themselves 'BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY' and to not allow themselves to be abused or assaulted by anyone because they, like anyone else, deserved respect and possessed pride and dignity. He left the Nation of Islam in 1963 and converted to Orthodox Islam after making his pilgrimage to Mecca (known as 'The Hajj') in 1964. He was assassinated on February 21, 1965 while giving a speech in Manhattan by members of the Nation of Islam. I believe the Brother Minister to be the most misunderstood and unappreciated figure of the 20th century.

I'd have to say Edward I, King of England.

He built a nation from the fractured feudal loyalties. Created a legal and property system based on law instead of whim, and despite the wars, built the nation into a super power which had his son been up to the task may have allowed England to dominate the European continent.

Now that's a man with ability.

Teddy Roosevelt for this very reason:

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, John F. Schrank, a saloon-keeper from New York, shot Roosevelt once with a .38 caliber revolver. A 50-page speech folded over twice in Roosevelt's breast pocket and a metal glasses case slowed the bullet. Amidst the commotion, Roosevelt yelled out, "Quiet! I've been shot." Roosevelt insisted on giving his speech with the bullet still lodged inside him. During his speech Roosevelt stated, "It takes more than one bullet to bring down a Bull Moose" thus further perpetuating Roosevelt's image as a larger than life President and the nickname of the Progressive Party, the Bull Moose Party established in June 1912 after Roosevelt responded to reporters questioning his health stating, "I am as strong as a Bull Moose". He later went to the hospital, but the bullet was never removed. Roosevelt, remembering that William McKinley died after operations to remove his bullet, chose to have his remain. The bullet remained in his body until his death in 1919. Schrank said that McKinley's ghost had told him to avenge his assassination. Schrank was found legally insane and was institutionalized until his death in 1943.

I'd like to see any of the last several presidents attempt that.
