On a hill far away, stood an old rugged cross....twas the emblem of suffering and shame......

Some people already said this one...but "Come Thou Fount" is probably my favorite.
I also like "Be Thou My Vision." (I realllly like Jars of Clay's version of it.)

"I Have Decided to Follow Jesus"

I love many hymns, but for the past few months that one has been my favorite. *shrug* who knows though? My favorite hymn may be different in the coming months.

Oh, and coupled with I Have Decided (like as a segue into that hymn) I really love "As the Deer Panteth for the Water."

Battle Hymn of the Republic...we sing it at every civil war reenactment :D

civil war reenactments are awesome!
and s it weird I've never heard old rugged cross?

My favorite hymn is I Surrender All. Here are the lyrics for those who haven't heard it before.
All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.

I surrender all,
I surrender all.
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory to His name!
