I've done both, but not always on purpose. I can certainly tell you which is faster.

Could run over them with a lawnmower though or put them through the mulcher
I figured if I used scissors the cuts would be too neat.
I gave in and now has some jeans.
A friend gave me 'mom' jeans even though I'm not really a mom
She also gave me short shorts - that fit!
I have a pair of stretchy blue skinnies
And another wideish bootlegs that definitely need hemming. They drag on the floor.
And a pair of longer jean shorts that skim my knees.
So now I have 1,2, 3,4,5 jeans, oh and a jean jacket/dress thing I picked out of the garbage I mean op shop
But I don't have an official levis 501 or the traditional denim jacket combo. So maybe that's something to work on while I get my wardrobe updated.
What about you. How many jeans do you have?
did you like Britney Spears denim ballgown with matching ex-boyfriend? That was decades old, but still...a classic. I'm not trying to be American, but all the stores here have them, plus clothes that say 'LA, Malibu, Hawaii, New York' rather than our own cities and towns in NZ.
