In that verse, woman speaks of the Church. There will be enmity between the church and the people that are in it. Because the wolves that are dressed in sheep's clothing just so happen to be the very same people in the Church. And when God cursed Eve saying that woman from now on will hurt during childbirth, or something like that, God means to say that the Church will have trouble even giving birth to one born again Christian. The Bible is to be read with a spiritual state of mind, not a carnal one. Because God is a spirit, and a carnal mind can never comprehend Him.

And when Christ came forth Christ bruised Satan crushed him, Judged him, It is finished
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

What is left? Flesh that is at enmity of God. and Again is why we are to consider ourselves dead to flesh and alive to God, where one sins no more, and the only way this can be is to be dead daily to the self flesh and the world flesh
What does a practice become? A habit, what does a habit become? A Characteristic, what does a Characteristic become? A trait
So see as Peter says
1 Peter 2 King James Version (KJV)
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

So you are going to spiritualize everything away? The text is plain from the beginning there were two sides, it was shown early in Cain & Abel. One worshiped God His way, while the other worshiped God his own way.

Nothing more than the flesh fighting the Spirit of God
Galatians 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now

Understanding His word doesn't come from experience or what not. It comes from humility. If you seek Him, He will open up your eyes. But if you're so focused on doing what is right in this lifetime, then, there is no use. I can go t school and my Buddhist friends could teach me better in being a better human being. And that's just how it is.

I agree and see this maybe as it is truth of flesh it profits nothing in and of its self without God doing it.
[h=3]1 Corinthians 13:1-3[/h]King James Version (KJV)

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Now God is Charity and without God in the lead we are still nothing, just a clanging symbol, that appears to be doing well. Flesh is very deceiving, of boy very much so, abiding in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that truthfully has no good in it, but to act good, appear as one or the group as good
Yet God will say to many that are acting and very convincing in and to themselves, along with others that are convince that they hold the truth, that they are good, are going to get a big surprise, well not them that are acting, for they know what they are doing and have made their conscious choice in unbelief acting as if they did for their own gain. Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe time to change our minds and quit trusting in ourselves?

[h=3]Luke 18:9-14[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Most here are not to condemn a young (in person) Christian but to show her that the original post is not from God. She wouldn't have to change her tone in so many different ways if it was. It has many good points alright but it's not error free. To defend by saying it's from God when it isn't is abusing His name.
Like Tintin said, we are all here to learn from each other. Only when we become perfect could we have explanations for everything. We are not there yet.

So since you are going to spiritualize everything away, then what about creation was it literal or spiritual? The flood in Noah's time? tower of Babel? Is salvation literal or spiritual?

Salvation is Spiritual, not yet physical for we are in unredeemed flesh, and called to be born again, by the power of /God the Father through the Son's finished work at the cross.
Born again, hmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are right now from Mom's womb born of flesh are we not? So what could born again be? Spiritual or physical?

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
1 Peter 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit

Live how?

The Bible says the law is spiritual yet it is also literal. We cannot do away with the literal.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Homy salvation is COMPLETE, not incomplete. Even the FLESH is made new... If God's Spirit takes over when He implants HIS SEED the flesh is made alive to only obey Him.

Look how powerful the Spirit saves... even the flesh of the old sinner.... But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Even the MORTAL body is MOVED by the Spirit.

And because of the fact that no one can stop sin of or in the flesh, since all sin has been:
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

We are to reckon ourselves dead to this sinful flesh by the death of Christ, raised back to life in the Spirit of truth, The Holy Ghost seal, our inner man of the heart where one follows the love of God perfectly, doing all as god is the one now in the lead, I, you and all that believe are crucified in the flesh as Paul said it well
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
[/QUOTE I agree with you H.B. The scripture is so clear that the flesh lusteth against the Spirit and that these two are contrary.Or, I am crucified with Christ never the less I live. And they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.Or that we were baptized into Christ death, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God ;for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned

My belief is Christ. That's all there is to say about my belief. Like Christ said, All the biggest sins start with "i"

So if you believe the "I" is dead and are alive to God having the Holy Spirit to show and teach you, is there any time for sin? Only when one starts wondering, doubting as what happened to Adam and Eve. Christ coming and doing reversed that through the cross. only if one believes without doubt besetting them.
Look at the woman in Matthew, Mark and Luke, the testimony of Faith, no doubts, so are you bt the death of Chruist dead to flesh self or not? and made alive from Father at the resurrected Christ

  1. Matthew 9:20
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
Matthew 9:19-21 (in Context) Matthew 9 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  2. Mark 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
Mark 5:24-26 (in Context) Mark 5 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  3. Luke 8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
Luke 8:42-44 (in Context) Luke 8 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations

Matthew 6:16Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Yes, the motive as to what and why one does this or that is what God sees. So maybe let's if any of us are stop pretending and start believing God, if we don't yet, just think about it for a minute or two. God opens up the doorway to those that just want to know him without any malice of self gain in the way and why it is shown he requires Mercy, I think it starts with me asking for it and then seeing it and then doing it, well truthfully god doing through me, I the "I" is dead and hidden in /Christ

Listen people God says the old is DEAD/GONE... BEHOLD all is made new... what is so difficult to understand? THE OLD IS GONE... The lust of the flesh is GONE, the battle agaisnt the spirit is GONE/DEAD... BEHOLD ALL is made new...

The new has no battle, the new has no sin, the new has no flesh lust, the new has no bad thoughts... THE NEW IS A HOLY EVERLASTIN LIFE... starting in the flesh...

The MOMENT THE SEED OF GOD IS IMPLANTED the OLD IS DEAD, and the NEW IS COME. The new has no sin and no flesh lust...
The NEW is moved, kept and lived by the HOLY SPIRIT.... PERFECTLY lived by the Spirit of GOD.

No. The whole 'don't throw pearls before swine' doesn't mean God's Word isn't for everyone (it is for everyone). It means that some (the swine) will reject God's good news (the pearls) no matter how earnestly, honestly and often you present it to them.

And that is where free will comes in and praise God for us not to be puppets. My choice is consciously made, I believe, received and now freed in God, dead to flesh sin and alive to God daily anyone else starting to see this truth? Or are still too busy in self trying to not sin?

Homy salvation is COMPLETE, not incomplete. Even the FLESH is made new... If God's Spirit takes over when He implants HIS SEED the flesh is made alive to only obey Him.[/QUOTE"The flesh is not subject to God neither indeed can be" or "I am dead and my life is hid in Christ" or "The life I now live I live by faith in the son of God". I count not myself as having attained ,but I press toward the mark of the high calling of God. Yes we are complete in him . But the flesh is irredeemable ,that is why we will be changed and corruption will put on in-corruption.And in the flesh dwells no good thing. These are all scripture. You are preaching a false gospel.Read the scripture and ask the lord for knowledge.Pride comes before a fall.

Isaiah 65:21-22 KJV
(21) And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
(22) They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Psalms 78:25 KJV
(25) Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.
1 John 3:2 KJV
(2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Philippians 3:21 KJV
(21) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Luke 24:37-43 KJV
(37) But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
(38) And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
(39) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
(40) And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
(41) And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?
(42) And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
(43) And he took it, and did eat before them.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Sounds to me as God will already have a place prepared for me, is that not what Christ said?

Sometimes, we have to be sure of some things. And I am sure, that this is the truth. Not because I said so, but because God did. I have a lot to learn, yes. But the Holy Spirit is my guide. I'm on the path, and I am walking with God. Sometimes, I'll fall. But He's always there to pick me back up. My body, meaning my flesh doesn't belong to God. It belongs to this earth. My spirit belongs to Him. My flesh will succumb and fall short. But my spirit will stand strong. Why? Because it's His life that I live. Not mine. His spirit.

So who am I or anyone else to judge
Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him
stand

Show me this Scripture please.

[h=3]Romans 7:14-25[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]14[/SUP]For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
[SUP]15[/SUP]For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
[SUP]23[/SUP]But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
[SUP]25 [/SUP]I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

But don't forget she is NOT from a Western culture. She is from Malaysia. Culture can also play a part in the way people come across. What is seen in one culture as rude is NOT so in the culture they live in.
And Malaysia is tough for Christians.

About God is Spirit... yep He is... But He is a Spirit that CANNOT sin and does not mix with sin. His Spirit is light and holiness, not darkness and sin... that is Satan's campsite. God's is light and NO SIN...

When God's Spirit enters into flesh, that flesh CANNOT sin becasue it is FILLED with Glory and holiness. The Spirit of God MOVES that flesh, even the thoughts of the flesh... The NEW heart, in that flesh is ALL GOD, and it is the Spirit of God that CAUSE that flesh to KEEP his commands (LAW)

The Spirit of God makes sure that the flesh HE LIVES IN only do GOOD WORKS... The Spirit of God cannto sin, not even in thoughts.... So EVERY fleshly Body that is BORN OF GOD, is a NEW creature.... 100% like Jesus was. Same Spirit, same heart, same soul. Everything is not being made new, from the moment God puts His SEED in that person, that person is BORN OF GOD, Like Jesus was BORN OF GOD...

If you want the Scripture ask. I will gladly post it...

And as you are not seeing, Christ is:

  1. Romans 3:25
    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 3:24-26 (in Context) Romans 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  2. 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 2:1-3 (in Context) 1 John 2 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  3. 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:9-11 (in Context) 1 John 4 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
