Can't upload pictures that are MB... WHY?

It's rather annoying to try and upload a picture into a post, only to be told that the "uploaded file is too large". Since when is a 1.00 MB picture too big? I've posted KB pics that are way bigger than the MB pictures I'm trying to upload. LOL.. This site used to be able to upload MB pictures, as well as KB pictures.. In addition, we can't even copy/ paste pictures into posts anymore, either. Nor can we upload pictures from our own computers for our signatures, either.

KB and MB only indicate the size of the file. Kilobytes being smaller than Megabytes ... 1,000 KB equals 1 MB. Websites like this require a LOT of storage space and so they often restrict how large a file you can upload so as to not fill up that storage.

The old site could handle MB pictures. Giphy has MB pictures on it that won't even upload, and Giphy is one of the media given for us to use. It's rather useless to people if we can't upload MB pictures from Giphy. Hopefully Robo can fix this issue..

Waggles, I tried uploading an MB picture from my 'puter that was MUCH smaller, in proportion than yours is. This was about the size of the one I tried uploading:

The 1 MB one that I tried uploading was EXACTLY the same size as this one.. Not ALL MB pics are huge like the one you posted..
