Hi Blue...Does your phone attached by usb cable show when you go to my computer...If you have attached wire it will show when you go into my settings, click on my computer, it should show if your phone is there, if not all is not lost, take your phone to a shop and they will have a way to get your pictures, your phone maybe de-activated, but what is in side is not...Sorry if i missed post, but what windows are you using...xox...

what about you send them via bluetooth to another phone, that's activated, and from there email them to yourself?
it could be anyone's phone, so long as you can pair it.

if you can, you may want to try sending the pics just 1 at a time, and send the next after the first is done. bluetooth doesn't have a lot of bandwidth, and overall it can be faster to do it that way than in bulk -- don't want multiple transfers simultaneously.

When my computer is opened, it shows the F drive for removable storage, but when I click on it, it says "insert removable disk" and I'm like... it's already in there..lol
That could be a CD or DVD drive. Even though the drive hardware itself is "permanently" installed in the computer case - because the media itself is removable, the device shows up as removable.

Go into the Connectivity menu option, select Bluetooth to use the Bluetooth function. If you want to transfer via USB select USB Connection. If your photos are stored on a memory card in the phone, select Mass Storage, only then will the phone show as a drive on your computer. But only if there is a memory card installed.

This is the whole problem. The phone has bluetooth, however the 'puter doesn't.. It's a deactivated tracfone. I'm not able to send anything anywhere on it anymore..

When I select Bluetooth on the phone, it says "no devices found." It only gives an option to send bluetooth or sms..but there's no service on it anymore, so I can't even do that. :(

No, blue. What that most likely means is that the phone is not currently detecting any other bluetooth-capable devices within the current range of the phone.

I hope all isn't lost.. There's only 3 photos on the phone, but they're of Tequila, and were taken the day I had her put to sleep. I'd really hate to lose them. :( I have pics of her when she was younger, but these are the only recent pictures I have of her.

Do you understand what mj007 and posthuman were trying to tell you?

Do you have a trusted friend with a bluetooth-capable phone?

The idea they were trying to get across to you is to have a friend bring their phone within bluetooth range of your phone so that you could transfer the pictures to the other phone and have the friend e-mail them to you.

EDIT: ( bluetooth is a wireless technology )

The tracfone is deactivated, and it barely holds a charge now, so I'm desperate and running out of time..
You should still be able to charge the phone battery, even if the phone service has been deactivated.

Stop fretting blue right now:)...You have an old phone that does not have blue tooth, you have no drive, go to computer shop and they will ease your mind, you will find your answer there, untill then, go and relax, God has your cat, and enjoy your memories, wait and see what computer shop says...xox...

Oh it charges.. it doesn't HOLD the charge for more than a day though. It use to hold a charge for at least a week or so..The cord I got to hook it to the computer charges it.. that's ALL it lets it do..

That is okay. In fact, as long as the phone will power up and work while the charger cable is hooked up to it is all that really matters.

do you have another phone now, Blue?
it almost certainly has bluetooth.

if you do ((or have a friend with a phone do the same steps))
turn bluetooth on, on both phones
make sure the tracphone is 'discoverable' - there should be a button or setting in the tracphone's bluetooth menu to do that. whether the tracphone has an active sim or not shouldn't matter.
'search for devices' with the active phone: hopefully it detects the tracphone. try to connect to it, from the active phone.
the tracphone should notice that another bluetooth device is trying to connect and give you a pin number to enter in the other phone.
if you can get the two phones linked via bluetooth, you can then, on the tracphone, send the pictures to the other phone.
from there it should be easy to email them to yourself.
