Hello! Okay, so I will be reading a particularly riveting thread, then I will post something, then I click on "New Posts" to refresh my screen. However, the post I just made doesn't show up! Is there a better way to do this?

Where do you see "New Posts?" And are you using the "quick reply" feature, or "go advanced" option when replying to a thread?

EDIT: I see "New Posts." :D That shows new posts across the entire site, so you might be a little bombarded and your posts may be lost in the sea of new posts sitewide.

The question still remains: quick reply, or the advanced editor?

After you post a reply, if it doesn't show, then refresh the page by going to the top LEFT corner of your screen and click on the round arrow. Then you'll be able to see your post. :)

Uhh... Quick reply? I think? And nah, it doesn't bombard me, I can see the posts for the last hour, and mine isn't in there! Weird!

And the "New Posts" is right under the "Chat Rooms & Forums" tab... and when I click it (like I just did) I get the "Latest Activity" page.. .which doesn't show my post. lol.

"New posts" just displays the newest posts that you haven't seen yet. Your posts are marked as "read", and the site doesn't bother to show you stuff you've already seen... because it isn't "new". :)

Sometimes people have issues with specific editors in the editor's advanced mode. :) (I had to stop using one of them in Chrome; formatting was always funky.)
