Now in my haste my verb tense doesn't agree in one sentence. It distresses me when my posts are taken out of the context intended.

oh sorry...you will stay distressed if that makes you stressed

however, I totally understand...I don't like it either yet it happens often

far too often

you can't change how other people...even well meaning people...are going to read a post

IMO, there are more people who get it wrong then get it right...

you would not believe...or maybe you would

on another forum a few years back, there was a man on there who is either holiness or something...anyway, according to him, if a woman is wearing pants...slacks...she is an abomination

and must have the long hair

so of course folks were all over him asking if he wore mixed clothes or trimmed his sideburns

apparently, a person only obeys certain of the OT law

now isn't that a revelation!

duh x 17

this went on for months...literally...see? not everyone argues over grace

and he also took a strong stand on a man having mulitple wives because it is in the Bible

I'm not sure, but he may have sported a club and a leopard suit
Was that the women pasters thread...? I remember him.

after reading all of the Posts,

it is always amazing how different most everyone takes another's words, especially if they are 're-telling'...
always seems to come out on a different note, a personal note...but yet, our job is to concentrate and absorb
what our Father is intending for us to learn and then use in our everyday life from what we read/learned,
for this is how we grow-up into Him - we must learn how to discern and apply what He is teaching us...

it should be about giving our all as in understanding our 'old-self' in the 'old-world' and then applying our
'new-self' in His 'new-world'...

I'm sorry but you are making assumptions about me again, as you have no idea what I am going through right now. It looks like this site is not a great place for a person who is shut in and trying to recover from major surgery, and not supposed to hardly walk for six weeks, and sick from chemo meds to treat an autoimmune disease. I need fellowship as a shut in but it does not look like this is the place for it.

I have no idea what you mean 'by again'

I have not even read one of your posts before

you have me mixed up with someone else...I don't know you at all and was just trying to be helpful...apparently I touched a nerve...but I did not mean to and again, I have never posted anything to you before

a strange illustration to what I posted though...oh well

no worries....

No the BDF is not the place to fellowship. There are other places here where you can go for fellowship but this isn't the place.

I'm not debating that. What I am saying is because I haven't recieved the Holy Spirit and speaking in tonges she feels she wears the pants in the family. She publicly embarrasses me---"You better stop talking before I leave your sorry #@S!"
This statement is actually pretty serious.

Personally I'd recommend they BOTH go for marriage counseling with a pastor...
at a different church.

I have an odd feeling there are a lot of weird marital problems at their current church.

I'm in a very lonely, unhappy marriage. My Wife, of 4 1/2 years, who is filled with the Holy Spirit and speaks in tongues refuses to biblicly submit to me(Husband). Only when I'm at her level spiritually. Help!
No one should boss another person around. Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves. I'm sure you don't want to be bossed around.

We have some idiots on here. That doesn't mean everyone is an idiot. Try the ignore feature. It makes this site more pleasant.

Well
It could be that he wasn't trying to troll, but actually thought we'd all agree with him and pat him on the shoulder and assume the only problem was the wife.
