I do feel it is accurate to say that this world's evil will continue to grow as time moves on. At some point the anti-Christ will come on the scene and do all kinds of things that will deceive people into thinking he is so great. Works will take place that are amazing , He will have a large following, If we are around we will see persecution as never before. Many will fall away due to fear and many will fall away due to the deception going on. We need to trust God's leading through the Holy Spirit now and as time moves forward.

Well, Plain, I didn't see too much WORD in that post aside from your Luke, & I am nor sure just what you mean. & I don't know what proof you could give that the Lord was prompted by the absence of the Church to ask some question.

It is incorrect to say that "The Church is not Raptured - it is slaughtered." For as a matter of fact, since I AD generation after generation of Christians have died without being slaughtered, though there have been martyrs. So they won't be around to be slaughtered in the Trib as they already died long ago. The idea that believers in general (i.e., those who trust Christ as Savior) "go out for Satan" is absurd.

My sheep hear my voice. I give them eternal life, & they shall never perish.
There is absolutely no question that the church is NOT raptured but instead decimated in the Great Tribulation. There is no passage that discusses or even hints of the church being "raptured." By Raptured I mean snatched off the earth and taken to heaven alive.

There are many, many passages that discuss a great many believers being killed during the Great Trib. The word, Tribulation, itself is used almost exclusively to describe the persecution and killing of believers at the hands of wicked. Therefore Great Tribulation is normal persecution and killing on steroids.

Here are some of the passages that describe the slaughtering of believers in droves.

Dan 7:

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, [SUP]22 [/SUP]until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

Rev 13:

[SUP]7 [/SUP]It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them.

Rev 7:

[SUP]9 [/SUP]After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb....So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation...

Rev 16:

[SUP]6 [/SUP]For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,

Rev 18:

[SUP]24 [/SUP]And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”

Again, not one verse that discusses the church being taken to heaven. Not one verse that shows a raptured church in heaven but plenty of evidence for a slaughter of believers.

You do make some weird statements plain. There has not been a first advent of the Father; He never became a human being. So there is no return. Of course He is omnipresent.

The trumpet shall sound . . . and we shall be changed.
There is no requirement that a deity come to earth as a man. Of course God was never here as man but He was here before. How can you think God was never walking on earth when we are told specifically that He was???

Gen 3:

[SUP]8 [/SUP]And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Here is the passage showing God, the Father, returning to earth.

1 Thes 4:

[SUP]14 [/SUP]For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

Almost everybody reads this passage and think it discusses the return of Christ, but it doesn't. All one has to do is read verse 14 to see it is God the Father coming, thus this entire passage deals with the Father's return and not the Son. When Paul uses the word, "LORD" without invoking the name of Jesus, he is speaking of the Father. Thus this is all about the Father.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord..

The Lord HIMSELF is GOD!!

[SUP]16 [/SUP]For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven..

This is God's Trumpet, not Christ's trumpet...

...and with the trumpet of God...

Daniel also teaches of God's return.

Clearly, the Ancient of Days is God the Father and clearly He is coming.

Peter discusses the old heaven and earth being dissolved. Logic tells us God does not destroy Himself nor does He destroy those in heaven so they all come here.

2 Peter 3:

[SUP]12 [/SUP]looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

Then of course John teaches in Rev 21-22 that the new heaven will be here and God, Jesus and us all will be there together. So much false teaching on this subject. So many get this wrong when the word is clear.
