Yes, It has become a land that promotes sodomy and whatever America does is what the world copies usually so it will be held to a higher standard to God because it was initially a Christian nation with the puritans and pilgrims....
There have been too many prophets sent to warn america to repent, yet it will not listen...it is beyond repair....and the prophets are no longer there to warn anymore.....instead prosperity preachers telling lies....
This preacher suffered much persecution in romania yet warned america along with numerous other ministers from all over the globe through the decades.....people won't listen because of hard hearts....but to those who will God will speak to them about their life and if they repent and seek God, He will bless them...

if I understand a bit about this, it seems the Holy Spirit does hold back how evil it could be, never mind how bad it is
it's really no better in Canada...we just have less people and more cold
like the inhabitants of the 'promised land', while the Israelites were in bondage in Egypt, the sin has not reached it's full ugliness yet
God is still answering prayer...who knows? I usually pray for mercy when I consider the 'big view' frankly the smaller, personal view as well quite honestly

this is really a pivotal election for you guys...y'all need to pray like crazy and ask the Lord to hold back the tide of evil

Morality is a societal standard. A consensus among men of what is acceptable behavior within society. That is not Christianity. And none of the morality systems that man has come up with have ever caused man to be good. Because man is not good, God alone is Good, and to be good requires the God who alone is Good.

At least one thing is going to happen, possibly two. Christ returns and sets things straight forever, or the pendulum of life will change directions and swing the other way, thus we will see a return to morality and common decency for a while, then it will swing back again, then again and again . . .

I think one of the reasons America isn't mentioned in end times prophecy, is because we have become so morally debased we have simply been given over. I believe socialism/communism will collapse the economy, and the rapture will decimate the population. I'm one who believes we have entered God's judgment and will not be turned around.

IMO, it has never been about morality. It has always been about positive believers who are advancing in Gods plan for their lives.
As long as God has positive believers who are advancing in His plan, He protects that nation. He puts a hedge up and protects the periphery.
IMO, it is not about gay marriage and immorality. It is about the believer who doesn't even know about or believe in their eternal security, how to be filled with the Spirit, that they can quench or grieve the Spirit or how to actually live the Christian way of life. Heck, most believers can't even agree about salvation............this is why we see the decline. It is not the immorality.
As goes the believer............so goes the nation.

I disagree, homosexuality is an abomination to God, He utterly hates it and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for it even though Lot was living there Sodom was not spared...When a nation loses it's moral fiber it dares God by showing a fist to Him, promoting lesbian/gay lifestyles all over the nation, putting up baphomet statues in detroit, and other places, having satanic prayers over council meetings, God sees all this and His mercy is running out the more people try to show up God so to speak....
Even if you take God out of the equation, Rome fell because the senators were to busy being homo's with children to "impart" their wisdom onto them....sodomy is a fast track to nation failure and there is no recovery historically when a nation embraces homosexuality....it always ends in demise never to be heard of again....
It all starts at the top...leadership...corrupt leadership leads to a corrupt country, sure God loves His children but when the head of a nation likes to play like he's God and pass laws for abomination...rest assured God won't have it......
