thankyou for what? lovechild, a sideways slander? Dude had no reason to say what he said
from my comment. I think you know that. But the shot didnt hit. But it does make u appear
either not so bright or dishonest.

When you dish your poison out on others all the time you should remember you reap what you sow. Your the one who is not bright and you are in need of help. When you decide my God is not dead then you may call on him. As of now he hears no people who preach he is dead. Its in the book of the Lord.

Do you believe that telling lies are Ok Linda?

Go ahead....ill wait...state your reason for saying this...lets see what it is.

I don't see what any of that has to do with the matter.

1 Timothy 2 said:
11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

Linda i know what your issue is. Remember its not you I dont like
Its your pagan demonology that is dangerous and unhealthy.
Ill slap it down no matter who preaches it if they say its from the bible.

But ill wait around to hear your excuse for saying what you said....bring it up.
At this point you have to. Youve put yourself in a corner.

If a woman was preaching on a street corner and with love and compassion communicated the gospel with conviction and in the Spirit of grace, I would support and encourage her 100% unequivocally.

If she was living in the love of the truth, she would never usurp the authority that God has given her in preaching the gospel or teaching the word over a man. She would submit her gift and authority that she has been given by God and willfully, with honor, put herself under the man of God that God raises up. She would never have an issue with usurping because she would discern and recognize God's authority in the church and body of Christ.

Being a pastor-teacher and having the oversight over a local assembly of believers is for the men and not for women. If a woman was lead by God to go into the mission-field and preach the gospel and many were being saved and their was no pastor to shepherd them, she would be obligated through the love of God to teach them about Christ and to edify them through the word and whatever doctrine that God would give to her. She would care for them and pray that God would send them a qualified pastor to teach and care for them in the will of God. That would be her heart and she would be faithful to her calling in that situation with understanding as to what her position is in the church that God has called her to serve.

I agree Red...spose thats why i seldom discuss this subject except from peripherals inward.
Reason being..if she cares about His will..she would know it..if not than its a waste of time.
Well put tho. :)

After reading through this post and seeing the complete lack of respect and or love by the so called men of God,it saddens me and the real question might be could a women be any worse?

Remember if you don't agree that's ok, but never forget the women you speak to are in fact the daughters of your FATHER in heaven yes God Himself.

Let the Love of Christ be given by all to all.

May a false teacher be a pastor? Then why are there so many false teachers pastors? It was not Paul that said women shold keep quiet in church, it was commands from the LORD! Now either Paul is a false teacher or a Spirit Filled Godly Apostle.... If 1 Cor 14:Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law...... If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
Looks like even the woman and men that are truly SPIRITUAL OR PEOPHETS, would acknowledge that GOD COMMANDS A WOMAN TO BE QUIET IN CHUCH!

So that is my answer and my believe in GOD'S WILL ON TIS MATTER!

And if a person wants to be ignorent of this fact and Truth.... I have another command... But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

I know Paul was an Apostle appointed by God and he knws better than ANY man I ever spoke too! So my vote goes.... NO WOMEN, to be pastors, not even Elders or bishops or deacons serving in church. Deacons s also used as servants, or table servants, that women can be, but not office deacons in church! As by 1 Tim 3. The man of one wife...Men holding the mystery....

And it is a specific teaching they should give the younger women.... Look what they should TEACH THE YOUNGER WOMEN...The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; Tit 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

They do not teach them to be deacons, bishops, husbands or pastors/teachers or evangelists... they teach them WIFE AND MOTHER stuff, somethingwe men KNOW nothing of, so we cannot teach you how to love a husband, or to love a child as a mother should. We only know how to subject to Jesus, and the older women know how to subject to their husbands, and they can teach the young women how to do it, something NO MAN can do. But does this mean it should happen in a church service? NO!

Jesus put the order of God in complete perspective here... Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. ...Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. ....Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
This church subjest unto Chrsit has NO WOMEN SPEAKERS IN THAT CHURCH! And there is no false teacher there either. No man with false teachings will speak in this Church! He will be made to keep quiet and he will be asked to leave the gathering, if he cannot keep his peace. ALL leaven (false teachngs) is removed from this church, so that the whole lump (the whole church) is kept spotless and without wrinkle.

Christ Jesus is the maintainer and head of this GLORIOUS CHURCH!

Women shouldn't preach. We're easily distracted by shiny things, and little old ladies wear a TON of shiny things to church. It'd just be a fiasco.

Women are directly and clearly forbidden to teach and/or have authority over men. They are to make their inquiries at home.

A pastor/elder/bishop is a MAN who is to be the HUSBAND of one wife.

The Great Commission passages were directed first and foremost to the Apostles who were all men.

This is a debate that raged forever in the Catholic Church after Vatican II, but luckily for us the Pope simply declared that women could not and will not be ordained (one of the beauties of a centralized authority).
