Not having issues....just wondering because a friend nearly convinced me that he had an encounter with a guy who seemed very demon-like.This friend was sure that he was "assigned" this guy because he was a new christian at the time and the guys name was Damian (which in my friends mind , remined him of "demon".)
Another incident was when an aqaintance who had a weakness for good looking women went to a pretty womans flat and all of a sudden she started telling him that she was the devil and started trying to bargain with him for his soul.
He had no real reason to lie about this since it was an embarrassing admission on his part that he went to a strange womans flat in the first place.
Hence, I want to know what folks think since I have heard of other incidents like these and would like to know what to look out for, should it happen to me.
(BTW Demon possesion doesn't count - I already know that's real....I am talking about a fallen angel taking on a bodily form.)

I have had my own experiences sometimes I have felt fear and other times not. Demons laugh at Christians who are afraid of them, but I understand how scary it can be. The first time I encountered a demon (ghost) was when I was the 5th grade ( I think). My older brother had the top bunk and I had the lower bunk. On the wall opposite me hung a mirror on the wall. One night I was having difficulty falling asleep and turned over . Then I saw a glowing red face in the mirror, looking back at me. I was petrified.
In contrast one of the last times I had encountered a demon in another person, I was calm relaxed and well in command. I was guided by the Holy Spirit. The demon was terrified of what I had threatened it with and when it finally left, it felt a huge weight off his shoulders, so to speak. It was almost comical, actually.

John, what if a person lets the demon and then changes his or her mind, can that person force the demon out? I only ask because in the Bible demons were not invited in. They came to the person and overtook the body. Jesus had to cast the demon out. So I don't think it was up to the people. It seems it was miraculous and limited to the time of Christ.

High level demonic entities can manifest as humans. But they are more likely to operate THROUGH humans. The only instance in scripture of any evil entity entering a human is that of Satan entering Judas and the prophecy of him (satan) entering into the man that will be the anti-Christ. Until then Satan enters no one....but he operates in and through, which is different.
