Nathan, if you think demons are not real then you are saying Jesus is a con man as one third of His ministry was devoted to casting them out of people. Have you ever read the gospels?
That is not what I, said. that's a lot to assume . And it had nothing to do with what I wrote below. Your comment just beats around the bush and avoids the topic and refocuses it on me. Lets just focus on whats written and the points im bringing up and the Comment of the original Post of this thread Im addressing . Your comment just avoids addressing what I would like to point out here: What does the scriptures consistently teach, and does it use the word daemon often or Not.

If a Demon is a Fallen angel then i belive revelation holds a secret for all.

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

The saw him with there eyes ??? so is this shape shifting , angels look like humans well some of them i belive.

God Bless

Hi all, Just wondering if demons can materialize in the physical world.
Well, of course. Look at many of our neocon and liberal politicians. ROFL.

Interestingly, people who follow the deceit of demons are described in the Bible in terms of occupancy portrayed as "wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever" in Jude 1:13.

The apostle Peter indicated that some of the fallen angels were already chained in the darkness of hell, awaiting judgment: "God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment" (2 Peter 2:4).

When I read the Bible, I see hell as a dimension with many levels. In any event, Satan and an unknown number of his demons are still roaming until their final imprisonment. Whatever hell's dimension may be, it required the birth, death, and resurrection of the most perfect Being to deliver us from it and is to be avoided at all costs.

But back to the topic. It is against the domain of Satanic demonic darkness that us Christians find ourselves in mortal combat. This combat manifests spiritually and also in the physical world. Fortunately, the domain of Satanic demonic darkness is finite and restricted. Think of it as an evil domain populated with demons with an unopened door that can only be opened on one side: ours. It is with the tools of the occult that men and women open this door to pure evil and the only force on earth that can overpower and close it is Jesus Christ who is head of all principalities and powers, and the Church, which is His body (Col. 1:15-20; Eph. 6:12).

The answer to your question is yes, it's possible for temporary periods of time for a demon to manifest; however, it can only occur as a result of occultic activities and can be dispelled by any genuine Christian stumbling into such a scene by exercising Christ's authority which every genuine Christian possesses and ordering it away in the name of Jesus Christ the son of the living God.

The real danger to the Christian in such a scenario would not be spiritual but rather physical as the occult practitioners would most likely attempt to assault and (and murder) the Christian for dispelling the wicked entity through the power of God after stumbling upon there wicked ritual.

But, as anyone who has been in dangerous and near death situations knows, God never abandons His children in such a situation but rather works through them in such instances. Listening and obeying God's instructions at that moment would be paramount. In any event, if your time is up: heaven awaits.

The only angels and demons I see are the people of the world. No extra demensions, just those who are over us and influence us throughout our lives.

I would say the same is probably true for the other side.

Hebrews 13:2
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
Why not? Angel simply means messenger of Yahweh.
The winged woman in white is a pagan invention. The cute little winged girl in white is called cupid.

Only angels can take Human form "as some entertain angels unawares" now are they fallen angels or Gods angels. But demons seek a body to posses . I could go in detail but some would ridicule. But I don't care, demons come from the pre adamic race that was destroyed in a pre adamic flood. The Earth was void and darkness was upon the face of the earth and God said let there be dry land. Then after noah He promised to never flood the Earth again and set the rainbow as a sign.

I know come on, I got thick skin, but where do you propose demons come from as they are clearly not fallen angels.
So technically the heaven and earth were not created in six days and Adam was not the first man?

So, when Paul says that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, he is talking about what?

Take money for instance. It has no power in it of itself, but we give it such in our minds. We have enough housing clothing and food for all, but we are facing WW3 to uphold money.

Satan, like money, does exert an indirect power. See my previous post for a more detailed account of how he does it (example of a dog "controlling" a boy). That is not the same thing as saying that, "the only angels/demons I see are people of the world."

People can not be the demons that scripture talks about. Can you cast a person out of someone? Can people accuse men in the heavenly courts as Satan does in Job? In Revelations demons are dealt with apart from evil people. Clearly, there are spiritual beings who are not people. Some of them are evil.

Picture the battle this way: Satan has his army organized. His commanders and lieutenants know how to spread propaganda among men to raise a human army to compliment their own. They do their job with supernatural efficiency. But Christ arrived and conquered Satan - no more Satanic kingdom. Yet the Satanic organization continues to roll on a local level. The head is slain, but the body stays in motion. Christ does nothing more than send in his own commanders and lieutenants - us! But we are incompetent to the point of forgetting which side we are on in the middle of the battle. Still, Christ does nothing more; He has decided that he will rule through us and not apart from us. So He encourages us, each one, to take control of the area of life we were assigned to and rule in his name. When we look at our area of life, our intended sphere of influence, we see it full of supernaturally efficient demonic activity, lose hope, and pray that God would somehow show His power. God does not answer that prayer- he has sent us to show his power and will not show it any other way. Thus, Satan maintains the illusion of controlling our relationships, our finances, our life story. The Federal government has been conquered. It is up to us to change the local governments - and that can only be done by accessing supernatural resources. God will not use showier means.

A demon is simply a spirit of error. Nothing more. We battle not flesh and blood (because all will be saved) but spiritual wickedness and powers in high places.

See what happens to both Christianity and Islam once the economy falls. All three mentioned are thoughts and ideas of men filled with error. The people come and go (representing angels and demons) but these are constant.

Yes they can, I see them on a daily basis I believe, some look like they have sunburn over their entire skin, and some look normal.. But if you're unsure, an easy way to tell is to keep pleading the blood of Jesus over your soul from head to toe, repeatedly & say Satan I rebuke you, your workers and anything ungodly in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, they will get fidgety when his name is used with authority and leave. I've done this an actually witnessed them take off in our fathers presence. I've also met a Damian right before I got saved, who I was uncertain about as well. The devil also places sexy women on my path daily as that was one of my vices, trying to tempt me, he's always working, but once we stay true to our faith he has no power on our lives. Also I think God shows each of us in our own ways what to look out for, but know that the devil and demons are not just coming around us as we've gotten saved, they've been there as early as elementary school, just watching, influencing, luring, and keeping an account of all the sins we've tallied up,..I've seen him sitting across from me on the train and I start rebuking him in Jesus's name in my mind and he's just brushing off his clothes in a way letting me know he hears me. Then as I read my bible again, through my peripheral I see his hands are bright red, as I look up they're back to his regular skin complexion, this happened 3 times before he got off

Agreed and well said. Along with that when G-d created man, He gave us dominion over the earth and everything in it when He created us. Along with that in 1 John it is stated "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." Since Christ is in us if something demonic approaches, just command it in the name of our Lord to flee and it will flee.

The Bible states that we can entertain angels unaware this being said demons are fallen angels. Also the Bible tells us that satan tries to appear as an angel of light. I would say no GOD has not given angels power to take on human flesh on their own. Now GOD has the Power to allow angels to use human flesh in such case as the angels who left their post guarding the Garden of Eden. Keep in mind satan tries to mimic GOD.

Blessings! !!!!!!
