Clearly you are confused in your order of events, as to what happens before and then later after the AOD happened in 70 ad. You insist all those events, which many have in fact transpired over the past 1900 years or so must happen before the AOD in 70 ad happened, this of course is false idea and false notion that is propped up to distort the truth and prop up a false doctrine. Also as I've already pointed out "the generation" Jesus was referring to was the wicked generation of Adam= children of that wicked=seed of evil doers=corruptible seed etc. So all your own hard work and study of scripture don't mean diddly squat if you don't have any Oil in your lamp so you can see the Truth. :)
Clearly in my mind, Jesus was not talking about the generation of Adam. The disciples did not ask about the beginning of the world, they asked about the end of it. So whatever oil you thought was in your lamp leaked out long ago LOL.:D:D.

However, I am curious what do you think the AOD was that Titus set up in AD 70? What Abomination did Titus set up which caused the people of Judea to flee?

[SUP]31 [/SUP]And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

How did Titus defile the sanctuary fortress? Granted his troops burned it down, but what was done to defile it? I assume you think that the burning down of the sanctuary fortress caused the daily sacrifices to cease? This part I can agree could fit with circa 70 AD. But then notice the order of events, since you highlighted them:

1. Forces mustered
2. Sanctuary fortress defiled
3. Daily sacrifices taken away
4. Abomination of Desolation placed

Can we agree on this order as Daniel gives it? Assuming so, let me ask you, where does Daniel discuss the Temple being destroyed relative to the AoD? Also, since you think the Sacrifices were taken away by virtue of the temple being burned, how did the Abomination of Desolation get set up in the Temple if it was destroyed first?

[SUP]11 [/SUP]“And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Daniel goes on to say that 1,290 days lapse between the time the daily sacrifices are taken away and the AofD is set up.

Have fun with this, looking forward to your thoughts. BTW, sorry if I got a little rude last time. I don't like being accused of lying. :D
