You men sound very William Wallace (Braveheart) and all... but Christ Jesus wore no armour suit when He abandoned His life to the Father. The enemy He instructs us to overcome is ourselves: to die to the flesh. 
The enemy is satan. But we do need to over come the flesh. Most Christians dont even try. They said a prayer and are now on there way to heaven. Making there way through life ,not understanding scripture not wanting to understand it. Ever wonder what tears will be dried in heaven? Will it be tears of regreat when you get the full understanding of what people have been telling you?
Theres only one enemy Who comes to steal kill and desatroy. Thats where our war is. Some will ignore it and just do sunday church couple times a week. Such a waste.

Two circumstances from the Scriptures came to mind as I read your post, Blain.
1. When David danced before the Lord (practically nude, I believe) in public with all his heart and soul, not everyone was pleased with his liberty to worship God in that manner. King Saul's daughter Michal despised (hated) him for it.
2. When Jesus showed His miraculous mercy and love to folks who saw His glorious power at work, He sometimes said, "Make sure you don't tell anyone." A lot of times when I shared with a bunch of folks some great vision or prophetic dream from the Lord, or God opened up wisdom to me about a particular Scripture, I learned it was most often for me only. It is not always meant for everyone else's ears.
Anyhow, I understand the ecstasy of Christ's love over you as a banner of love. Praise God, I rejoice with you, Brother that you are precious in the sight of God. And I also stand with you in humility because I'm learning day by day, too how to relate and commune with so many different brothers and sisters in Christ, all growing in various levels, all looking to one another for acceptance, love, fellowship and edification. Praise God we are all perfect in the Lord's sight. Glory to God! \/

I know!... Silly that I bought one so big. I may have to drill a couple of 7/8" holes in the body of the suit so that I can see.

How you interpret our post depends on if you are thinking in the flesh, or the Spirit.
EPHESIANS 6:10-18 Is all about the armor of God, withstanding the temptations of Satan. That being in the Spiritual realm. My thinking is that of the Spirit.
EPHESIANS 6:17 The sword of the Spirit,which is the word of God, can be used as a offensive weapon against the enemy.
The enemy is Satan, the fallen angels and probably false religions. That is what I referred to to when jokingly asked tourist to sign me up. For the enemy does not like hearing Gods word. For this, I am happy to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am Scottish, too Brother Free-To-Be but I live in the US. Although I have often thought about moving to Scotland.
Anyhow, thank you for pointing it out about our enemy, the devil. I used to be up to my ears in books, study guides and tape cassettes (this was back in the 1980's) regarding fighting the devil and his demons. I was so focused on being a warrior for God that I was in a battle for my mind most of the time, rebuking stuff left & right. One day the Lord told me plainly, "Cast that aside and learn of Me." That was the beginning of the end of my demon-fightin' days.
So forgive me for forgetting that we are in warfare against principalities and powers of darkness. It's just that I've become so accustomed to keeping my eyes on Jesus and listening to his Voice, that I don't pay any attention to the roaring lion who does nothing but lie.
Perhaps you would like to begin a thread on spiritual warfare. I'd be very interested to hear more of your wisdom on it. Thanks again, Brother!

You know the sign of peace was originally a kiss on the lips. It was done away with during the plagues. Though it became common in parts of European culture. The "biz" or French and Italian greeting of kissing one on each cheek upon seeing a friend is one such cultural sign of the ancient sign of peace..

According to the texts I quoted it is the New Jerusalem that is the bride. We are guests according to Matthew 22

If you were referring to my post. That was a joke that you read. I know, Unusual to see a joke in the battlefield of the scripture interpretations.
There are those who are troubled seeing the hurts that the enemy puts onto others. So knowing what the Bible teaches us about the enemy. This knowledge can be used to help others who are in a time of need. The focus is not on self.
So this should be pleasing to God.

So this should be pleasing to God.
I had a 7 or 8 vision series about this subject around dec. of last year. all in church while caught away in the spirit praising God with abandonment.
1st vision. I saw a stair case going up to heaven. I tried to go up that stair case, but my feet just went through the steps.
2nd vision, the next church service. I saw the same stair case to heaven except this time 2 angels grabbed me under my arms and helped me go part way up that stair case to heaven.
3rd vision, I saw lots of stair cases to heaven in an open area in the church and two very small angels with their hands in their pockets looking like they had nothing to do and no one who wanted to be helped up those stair cases to heaven.
4th vision, this time i zoomed up and down the stair case to heaven unaided by any angels.
5th vision, this time I went up the stair case to heaven as an angel, and you couldn't see my head because light rays were emanating out of my head and I had on a garment made out of diamonds, with light emanating from those diamonds. I looked down at earth and saw the bride of Christ and she was taller than anyone around her, and she was dressed in a whoop skirt with puffed sleeves on her blouse, she danced around in a circle praising god, then sometimes she would lift the hem of her skirt so as to not trip over it. and dance in place.
The last day I was in church god called me out of that church in a vision while I was praising god in the dance. i went to my seat fell to the floor and began kissing the feet of Jesus while prostrate before him with no effort to conceal what I was doing. Usually when I bowed down to the lord and kissed his feet i would cover my mouth with my hands so no one would see me cause I knew that would freak them out, but this time for some reason I didn't care if they saw me or not.

last vision. while sitting at the feet of Jesus I was suddenly woodshed up the stair case to heaven as the bride of Christ. I had long blonde hair with a tiara in it. and I had long eye lashes that when I flicked them they would send out waves of sparkles. I was so beautiful that their was an aurora of sparkle around me. and I was seated on the floor at Jesus feet at the top of the stair case to heaven. The experience was phenomenal, words can't convey how phenomenal it was.

I forgot to mention that in the 5th vision, which was the next to the last one,I had on the same diamond light garment of purity that my angel superior/boss gave me in a dream some 6 years ago when she told me that they were sick and tired of me not being pure. so she gave me that garment of purity to wear all the time and here in this vision I am wearing it just before I turn into the bride of Christ. very significant because the bride of 'christ is without spot or wrinkle and has made herself ready.
