As longs as you believe the Doctrines the Apostles Taught you should be fine.

2 Thessalonians 2:14
Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.
You believe in the doctrines of the Apostles. I believe in the doctrines of Jesus Christ. It seems to me that my way makes more sense.

No. We have to believe ONE, singular, doctrine that The Lord Jesus Christ taught and the apostles expounded on. Acts 16:31

Believe/trust in the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ ALONE to be saved.

What we have today is people believing in His name and not His Person and work. They believe He lived and did great things. But they are trusting in their own FOLLOWING /imitating of Him to be saved.
Umm...

John 1:12
"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"

Luke 9:23
"Then he said to the crowd, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me."

^He said this.

Like I said on your other condemning thread.

You have yet to prove it. You are one of the most "suspect " ones here........just based on your posts and thread's threatening children of God with judgement.

John 5:24~~New American Standard Bible
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
You will find out the repercussions of refusing to believe the Doctrines the Apostles Taught.

I think we are okay as long as we obey the Lord's commandments.
One of the commandments in the Bible to believe the Doctrines the Apostles Taught.

2 Thessalonians 2:14
Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.

Do you believe the Doctrines the Apostles Taught?
The Lord gave us commandments to obey. The Pharisees added a multitude of rules on top of those the Lord gave us. We don't want to imitate the Pharisees. I think it's good enough to obey the commandments the Lord gave us.

The Bible is a long book. It contains a lot of things, including the letters of Paul and the commandments of the Lord. I am referring to the commandments of the Lord.

The Apostles are not Pharisees, we must believe the Doctrines (commandments) the Apostles Taught.

All the commandments in the Bible are commandments of the Lord.

The Apostles weren't Pharisees but we could easily become Pharisees if we add to the commandments that Jesus laid out for us.

"Fine" in what sense? "Fine" is not a biblical concept which fits this context. You have otherwise ignored my post.

Long ago people decided to include certain of Paul's letters into the Canon of the Bible. However, neither they, nor Paul, had the authority to add new commandments.

The only commandments are those that God or Jesus gave us.
You have to obey all the commandments God and Jesus gave us, not only the commandments you like.

2 Thessalonians 2:14
Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.

I'm not worried, but that has nothing to do with your "Doctrines the Apostles Taught". You still have ignored my post.

Yes, but you have to distinguish between what is a commandment and what is not.

To attempt to obey all the commandments God and Jesus gave us is not in any way adding to the commandments. "YOU JUST HATE CERTAIN COMMANDMENTS GOD GAVE US".
