or the FAST MODE?

Maybe God just does things so man can knw what he wants, don't you agree? I have never seen a scripture, but i have to admit i have not seen many scriptures that makes God look as tho hes trying to trick man....I think He loves His Creation, at lest those who lOVE HIM.....SMILE this isnt suppost to be mean....:)

I think you said GOD is ONE not 3, yet you claim he has different names? any verse to help me understand that?

I said God doesnt Judge mankind. thats told in Jn 5:22 I think.....it might be wise to read it tho.

Since you seem to have a wide discription of forgivness, can YOU name the angel in Ex 23:20-21? you can GUESS if you want....He forgives also
The Bible speaks of a “Holy Spirit.” Jesus is named in the Bible. I believe he is the Son. Jesus speaks of his Father. These are the three. I believe they are all the same person. Jesus died on the cross. That gives him the right to forgive us of our sins.

If GOD so loved the world he gave HIS SON, why do you think it sez He gave his son and not himself?
You pay a penality of death to pay for your sins, the sacrifice allows you to approach God sin free.
Jesus is named as Gods Messiah sent.......God is named in Psalms 83:18.
Jesus is even named in Col 1:15.
YOU dont really think God died do you? or a Lessor part of God?
You dont really think God prayed to Himself do you?
You dont think God was His own sacrifice do you?
THE HOLY SPIRIT doesnt even have a name!!!!!

Just think about it, you dont have to ever change your mind, but the questions are valid. Those answers make God incomplete if any are answered yes. It shows a Lessor part of HIM if He needs to annoint Himself....Just a thought...Hope all come tot he truth

um....without a shadow of a doubt ...most assuredly..with a big fat beautiful........yes....and if you ask him he will show you the truth that you are seeking. His truth. Just ask him, its as simple as that. He shows you the most amazing things when you seek him with every fiber of your being. He shows you MORE then you can even imagine. He starts to reveal his mysteries to his child and the world opens up before you with a new set of eyes. You get that childhood wonder and the carefree joy of a child back because you soon realize that you are GODS child and that he has got this lol.

I don't understand your questioning here. The Father, invisible Almighty God, gave Himself as the visible Son.

YOU dont really think God died do you? or a Lessor part of God?
Yes I do. And I believe it is a "lessor death", rather than lessor part of God as you say. I won't explain that as it should be straightforward in that God's physical earthly death meets the required depth to redeem his beloved followers. God wore an earth suit to save us from ours.

You dont really think God prayed to Himself do you?
Yes. Is it not what makes Him God? He is the Alpha and Omega. He is omniscient and omnipresent. In that, when God speaks, He hears what He says.

You dont think God was His own sacrifice do you?
I'm not sure what you mean here. God sacrificed Himself for us. You seem to ask if He sacrificed Himself for Himself...which doesn't make biblical sense.

It shows a Lessor part of HIM if He needs to annoint Himself....Just a thought.
His ways are not our ways. However, He wears an earth suit as Jesus so that he could be "our way". It is not a lessor part of Him, except in that He donned flesh in a fallen world, and so became lessor for us. This is called redemption. If God didn't Himself save us from His wrath, we'd be toast.

But perhaps I am confused with what you've posed here....

The Holy Spirit can forgive sins, but He doesn't. Jesus Christ is our sin forgiver and representative before the Throne. No man comes to the Father accept through me "not a quote" They are three distinct people of the trinity. Cheers

God was Jesus, but God was more than just Jesus. Jesus was just God in flesh, but God is much more than that.

Here's some food for thought.

Do you believe that YOU can forgive someone of their sin? (one against you of course)
And if you do, do you believe the Father in turn honors the actions and intent of His servant and also forgives that person?
Do you realize that YOU have the power to diminish the potential fire of your fellow man?
And if you do, is not the Set Apart Spirit of YHWH working through you?
If you do, the "pharisees" will claim you are trying to be "god".
If you do, the "pharisees" will call you a demon-boy.
Because this is a very powerful "superpower", greater than healing the blind.

Is what you loose on earth loosed in heaven?
:D
A man does his work.
A son of man does his father's work.
And that person has the power to forgive sins on earth.

True true, Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are the same person. But forgiveness of sin is not the Holy Spirits role, it is Christs. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and leads us to Christ. The blood of Jesus is the only way we can receive forgiveness.

It disturbs me when questions like this are presented. Satan likes to confuse and cast doubt.

This isn't a deep theological issue. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice that dealt with the sin issue once and for all. Now,
there are those people who think they will "find God" when they are ready to find God. I disagree.....simply because,Jesus said in John 6:44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them". God the Holy Spirit does the "drawing".

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict of sin and show men their need of a savior. However, when we repent of our sins, we are praying to God the Father and asking Him to forgive us. Why? Because we believe that Jesus' death is the propitiation for those sins. God wouldn't forgive without the sacrifice and we wouldn't ask without conviction.

We need a Savior, Jesus Christ. We need the Holy Spirit to convince us of our lostness.

Now, there is one very important aspect of the Holy Spirit that enables us to continue in our experience. He, The Spirit, indwells us at regeneration. Praise God!!!

Romans 8:9 tells us "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His".

So, the Spirit convicts, draws, and if we respond appropriately, the Spirit indwells us. We need the Holy Spirit to enable us to "walk in the light".

Do you believe the Holy Spirit can forgive sins?

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

If we can forgive sins . So can the Holy Spirirt. The Holy Spirirt is God. God can forgive sins.

We can't forgive sins. I think you should do some more research in your commentaries concerning this verse and it's application. The Holy Spirit is one person of the Trinity and has a ministry that is unique to that personality. God sent Jesus to be the sacrifice for sin. It is not the Holy Spirit's ministry to forgive anything. It is under God's authority that Christ died for the sins of mankind; it is under His authority that the Holy Spirit convicts and, it is under God's authority that sins are forgiven. He can only forgive sins because the sacrifice has been made. His Holiness demands that the price for sin be paid and His Holiness demands that the Holy Spirit convict and draw men to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Society thinks otherwise. They seem to forget He is a Holy God.

I don't think so. You are nothing like God. Your goal is to be Christ like and his goal was to live a life pleasing to God.
Your best shot is to be obedient, humble, love God with all you strength, soul, and might, and then, love your neighbor as yourself. Sounds like you might be in love with yourself.
