Do you realize, when the tribulation happens, the sun won't shine? What happens during the tribulation? The light of God stops shining in the world, and then He returns to rapture Christians, before the wrath of God is poured out.
How can you literally believe this prophecy of the rapture and tribulation and sun going dark if you believe it's just a metaphor? What kind of sun goes dark metaphorically?
Please name a young earth astronomer and tell me why I (as someone who said that I don't research flat earth theories) should know about them.

The age of the universe is estimated by scientists who more often than not are atheists. Anyone who published a scientific paper which verified scripture and was Christian in nature would not be taken seriously, they would be shunned and have their funding taken away. You know this to be true, yet you're probably going to ask for proof (which I won't bother to give you).
Please provide any evidence to show that a young earth astronomer has lied about the shape of the earth (the world planet comes from the word plane which means flat surface).

You must always take context into consideration to know what is being said.
And we cannot actually know what will happen in the tribulation, as you call it, until it will happen. It can be nuclear winter, in can be ecplise of the sun, it can just mean that people will walk like without any light.
Many interpretations are possible and thats why nothing forces us to take everything literally, which, as I demonstrated, can lead to really silly conclusions.

The heliocentric model doesn't make sense in scripture. Where as stars being biblical lights in the firmament does.

actually that's more of a "bond creator" because if everyone thinks you are an always serious person then they may think you crazy,sometimes it's good to do something "normal" not always what is expected,and yeah it's not serving God,but as I said it is a way to connect with people with"humor",but the end result is that I still serve God,and though it seems bizarre to do so,if you can't be somewhat "normal" with people and just tell of God's word then many tune you out,because what you speak sounds "dull" to them,though there is still a distinct difference between what I do in ruin a date in four words and you do in bible discussion forum,that being that people know that I am "joking" in singles forum" where as this new "obsession" of preaching flat earth is just another excuse to try to justify one's actions as being for God instead of oppose and it's not "fooling" anyone not me and not God,many have made up stories or warped their faces,or twisted God's word to their liking,it's nothing new yet people always act so surprised of such things,but no big deal the bible already forewarns of "false" doctrines so go ahead and have fun I suppose,though it will only last for a season,what makes the difference in what one does for God is that it is actually for God not something that just entered your mind one day,yeah big deal I "play" in the singles forum,but I for one do not "play" with God's word because I "actually" fear God,and I fear misquoting God's word the bible because the warning at the end of the bible in Revelations(whoever takes the time to read it should note it)that to add to or take away from God's word,the bible is to Go against God,and the last plagues shall be added to all who add or take away from God's word the bible...my "playing" is equivalent to a"kid" playing a harmless game" your "playing"is equivalent to "mocking God" and thereby putting both body and soul at risk just for the sake of having an audience.

1) The earth existed before the sun
2) Light existed before the sun
3) God created the sun to rule/give light
4) The Sun will stop giving light
If you believe these things, the heliocentric model falls apart. The heliocentric/atheist/big bang model is contrary to scripture.
If people think I'm stupid, or that Christians are stupid, or that God is stupid, it's their problem. If I'm going to get blamed for believing these things that God says, then I'd point out how it's a sin to not believe God and they are His words.
