Jesus commanded baptism. If somebody tells you not to be baptized, they teach false as it was commanded by Jesus.
Just what do you mean by baptism, Kenneth?

By using the Greek letters moved into English you are not giving the meaning.

ONLY BELIEVE!

ONLY BELIEVE -- words of the Lord Jesus.

Salvation is offered an abundance of times just for believing/faith/trust in the Savior:

Luke 8:11-12
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 And those by the way side are they that have heard; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.
[NO WORKS, NO MARIOLATRY, NO WATER]

John 1:12
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 3:14-18
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up; 15 that
whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life. 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. 18 He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only Son of God.

[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 5:24
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 6:40
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who beholdeth the Son, and believes on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 6:47
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 5:24
2Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

John 10:27
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]
JOHN 20:30
Many other signs therefore did Jesus in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

Act 13:48
And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

Acts 15:8

And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us; and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

Acts 16:31a
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, . . . .
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

Acts 26:18b

that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.
[NO WORKS, NO WATER]

ONLY BELIEVE!

Is your church have a Pope?
Is your church founded by Peter and lead by Pope francis?
Good evening, Jackson.
The expression "your church" suggests the error that there is more than one Church. I see no evidence that this guy is in the Body of Christ. His views are unorthodox. There is & ever has been only One Church, the Body of Christ. To get in all you must do is trust Christ as Savior; then you will be Spirit-baptized into that Body. 1 Cor 12:13

THE ANSWER TO THE OP IS

Sirs, what MUST I DO to be saved?
Answer:
Believe on the Lord Jesus, & you shall be saved.

Thou shalt call His name Jesus, for
He shall save His people from their sins.

Um it's the Word of God. Does that mean anything to you? All you do is defend your "precious" church and funny how even in this post you deny the authority of Scripture by your last sentance.
I'm not denying the authority of scripture at all. It derives its authority from Christ who gave a full Gospel, not just what was written decades later. I am defending the Gospel of Christ, not man made sectarian philosophies and interpretations.
You have denied the Word of God, as well as the Word of God found in the text. You and all sola scripturist have denied the authority over scripture and have elevated a Text as Truth rather than a witness to the Truth, and then imposed your authority over that text to derive/develop your own philosophies.

Sola scripturist, all of them that I have read, claim that scripture as a text is authoritative. If that is so, would you not think that it would have sufficient authority to make sure that it imposes that authority so that all who read it will get the very same message. However, that does not seem to work. As well as their claim it comes from the Holy Spirit. The only spirit I see at work is the devil. He has successfully divided scripture to the point it is null and void of its correct meaning. Ah, that has always been Satan ploy, divide and conquer.

you right brother. with all the respectI don't believe that RCC is church of Jesus Christ. Though people call it RCC/Roman catholic church. But not include in the body of Jesus Christ. Just like Mormon Church etc they call it church in the different meaning.

Thank brother, for your response, I though you are member of RCC. Your believe system, salvation by work is Catholic believe system. I believe salvation by grace through faith in Jesus. Work is product of faith in Jesus not requirement of salvation.

You have to be one of the most bassackward people I have ever talked too. You say you believe in the authority of Scripture yet you asked me to prove it. Then I prove it and you deny it saying I had a wrong interpretation. Then you say the church has authority on truth yet the Bible is authority. Then the Bible isn't authoritative. Then it is again.

You are so messed in the head....get out of whatever church your in.

I don't believe in salvation by works either. I also believe salvation(eternal life) is by grace through faith. Your next(last) sentence is a contradiction.

I already explained that to you but I see it went right over your head. Let me explain it to you again.

I believe in Christ who is the Truth. It was Christ via the Holy Spirit that gave us God's revelation to man of which some of it was written. Thus Christ is the author of that Revelation, He is the authority over that revelation. It is the function of the Holy Spirit to preserve both the Body and the Gospel entrusted to it. Christ is the source of salvation.

On the other hand you believe in a Book. You claim that it is ONLY the Bible that is the SOURCE of faith. You also claim that book, in and of itself is authoritative. Yet no one has yet shown that a text, the Bible has any authority whatsoever. When man reads it and develops what it means to him, there are hundreds of differing gospels.

I also stated that there really are ONLY two sources of authority. It is either God or man.
On that basis I'm asking to show how the text has authority?

You disregard Christ as the sole authority, you deny man is authoritative, which leaves scripture, which every sola scripturist states, is his authority along with the Holy Spirit.

That "book" is the Word of God. Which means um...it's God's Word given us in written form. Because the Bible is God's Word means it has authority over anything man says.

And I showed you Scripture yet you deny it obviously because you don't believe the Bible has authority. So I guess your whole belief system is based upon what your "church" says is truth. You rely on man not God for truth so no matter what Scripture I post to you, you will deny. You are a marionette with your strings controlled by your "church" nothing more.

Does your "church" read from the Bible?

If you're taking bets on this, I'd say not, since no man can understand the Bible, which, what the heck, has no authority by what it says, anyway. Telling you, Elf3, his Bible is in hieroglyphs, and he's been told it's no use, maybe some Coptic splinter group, Church of the Immaculate Bassackward? I vaguely remember similar things when a child, there was a time Superman was stuck in the Bizarro World, and he...

OK brother, you don't believe salvation by work. It is good and biblical. I don't understand why you said my next sentence is contradiction. You believe a man that have Faith in Jesus not bear good fruit?

Cassian of course you may post your opinions & private interpretations of theology without bothering to quote the scripture (not "It is written" as the Lord did). Perhaps you feel good for asserting, but it is really of little value, for you don't prove from the Bible. It would appear that you prefer Sola Cassiana to Sola Scriptura.

It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Cassian who cares what you believe in?
God's word gives light; your private opinions are useless as such.
Perhaps it will dawn on you if you read what the Lord Jesus said about scripture, & note His attitude towards it, & how he used. it.

THE SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN!
