When Christ returns we will be with Him to establish His Kingdom on Earth. In my opinion there will be rebuilding and government. We will be rulers. The crowns are indicative of how much land we will inherit. Kings have crowns. We aren't going to heaven for eternity, we one day will live in New Jerusalem, after the final recreation, following the great white throan judgement.
Nice :), I heard that in a parable of Luke I think. So would you disagree with their "capacities" doctrine?

Heaven is going to be amazing...There won't be any pain, suffering, or heartache there. God is our Father. You can rest assured that he loves us all.
Their stupid "We will all be full of God's love but in different capacities" doctrine is driving me nuts. They're saying that some will have a more intimate relationship with God depending on the capacity we get, which is contingent on the amount of rewards we receive.

If it's any consolation., those are not feelings that are coming from God so you are not bound to them. We feel lots of things as frail humans but that doesn't always make them ligament. People can feel all kinds of things and even foolishly live their lives based on their feelings., only to find out none of what they "thought" was real. It was just what they thought and often times have no basis in reality.

The Holy Spirit doesn't give us what you are going through. The enemy gives us those kinds of feelings that make us sick and doubtful of our relationship with Jesus throwing guilt and remorse and lack our way. Don't accept those feelings as your own. (Don't own them) Discard them as worthless because they are. The enemy can knock at the door with many wacky words or ideas. That doesn't mean we have to accept them as ours. Shut the door to them and don't take ownership of them.

You will find that when you learn to do this., it's what the Bible calls resisting the devil and he will most certainly flee. Truth comes to light when we reject the lie that says God's love is not ours in its fullness. There is nothing we can do to get God to love us more than He already does at this very moment.
So you agree that the amount of rewards each saint gets does not effect our intimacy with God for an eternity? Rather that it just determines miscellaneous rewards such as crowns to wear and amount of land each one has?

Ephesians 1:11-14
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 3:14-19

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

1 Peter 1:8-9
You love Him, though you have not seen Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy,9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

"enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

Inexpressible and glorious joy that is tasted in this life upon regeneration when it is received for eternity in the life to come will be a great eternal reward no?

Beautiful answer thanks! But what would you say about the "differing capacities" of fullness each person gets, would you say its a bogus doctrine?

Correct, I would disagree. The Bible is very clear about everything. We will receive a new body and share in the inheritance of Christ. We sacrifice this life and forgo the pleasures of the flesh to instead be guided by the Holy Spirit and be a he hands and feet of Christ. As "payment" for our service we will receive rewards in the life to come. If you are not in Christ you will have no body and just be a spirit without the ability to sense anything. We receive pleasures and joy and happiness because of the chemical reactions in these vessels. I imagine those who aren't saved will eternally suffer like somebody who is lying in a hospital bed, fully conscious but unable to move or speak or see. Just an eternity alone, and pleasureless.

If a building contractor hires 5 men for a construction crew, and 1 man works his tail off always looking for things that need doing before being told, 3 men do their assigned tasks well but takes no initiative, and one does the bare minimum he can get away with: who is likely to get promotions, raises, and praise from the boss?

We are not only called to salvation, we are also called to service. Would you not expect those who cheerfully serve wholeheartedly to get better rewards than those who find excuses for not serving; when Jesus rewards his faithful servants.

Awesome! What would you say about the crowns each person has? Does this effect our outer appearance of how bright we shine? They like to use this idea that the amount of crowns will determine how bright our new bodies shine in the afterlife.

1 Corinthians 15:39-42
Daniel 12:2-3

but this would contradict Matthew 13:43 which says that we'll all shine as bright as the sun.

But what do you mean we have the choice? Don't we just go where God goes?

I agree that the people who barely do anything for God should not get rewarded as much in terms of crowns and positions (roles) in the next life, but what I was concerned about is does God lower his love and intimacy down to a certain capacity to someone like me in comparison to the apostle Paul who has gone through treacherous things for Christ. I'm just an ordinary Joe. Not saying that I'm not a faithful worker.

Greater rewards for believers in the life to come? seems to be a non-issue.

Perhaps some of the men that introduce such teachings use it as a means to subdue other men's minds for the purpose of having authority over them and to subject them to their dictates.

Works righteousness seems to be the end result of what is being promoted.

2 Corinthians 4:7

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Thanks for showing all these verses it helps out a lot. The thing that's bugging me is that they're saying certain crowns unlock a higher level of experiencing God for an eternity. I'm so worried that its true.. But I guess not so much anymore.

So the joys of the vessels unto honor are all the same; testifying to what Christ has done for us in bringing us Home to the Marriage Supper; some may have one crown, some may have more than one crown, but that is all to His glory; not ours, lest we think we deserve a better seat.
Okay nvm I just realized you said this. Thanks!
