*who the bad part of the judgment is really for.

2 Corinthians 5:10-11

I'll explain more when I have a better understanding.. Probably won't be for a long time. I have to do a lot of praying and studying on this.

Sis, at the moment I believe that a lot of us as Christians have a HUGE misconception of what the judgment seat of Christ really is. I may be wrong but I actually think that we're misinterpreting who the judgment is really for. I'm currently doing more research on this matter. As of right now I take back everything I said about gaining/losing rewards. I currently believe that as saved Christians we'll all get the same reward. But like I said I'm studying this out so I might change my mind.

Hi South
I think you are right that Christians have a huge misconception of what the judgment seat of Christ is really about. Many even believe there will be sort of like a huge video screen set up for alllll to see how we messed up in this life and didn't take the opportunities we could have and should have.

How our every sin throughout our lives after we got saved and maybe before will be viewed by all in the heavenly courts of all the saved saints and all the angels. Including us to endure the shame. That is just so HUMAN of us to think that way. It's not God's way.

Keep doing your research and you will find the answers. There is so much availability now to read the Bible and be with other Christians who have gone on before us. We have the Holy Spirit to teach us and lead us into all truth and He uses other believers too in the process. His ways of teaching us to see the Bible and Jesus are without limits.

The Bible is clear about rewards and the loss of rewards. We won't all get the same rewards for a bunch of different reasons. Some are called to different places to do different things. And also., in God's economy., the first will be last and the last will be first. What looks good here on earth is not actually what is truly going on behind the scenes. Did we walk by faith or by sight. Is there condemnation when we failed? No

So many scenarios but one thing is for sure., His love is ours 100% and in that love., there is no fear. We are able to., (in that love) move forward without fear of loss or retribution. Jesus has paved the way. We follow His example each day. I look at it like this., each day we take a bit at a time like a huge meal. We take the truth and chew on it and apply it to each situation we find ourselves in.

There are a ZILLION truths to learn from the Bible about Jesus and truth and we have the Holy Spirit to teach us while we are in these bodies with their limitations. But He can and does take us far and beyond our limitations at times and shows us truths that I've wondered how come the angels didn't come down at that very moment and sing along with the truth He just revealed??!!! lol. And yet we learn how to sit or kneel before the Lord in Awe and worship Him for the glory of it all and Him for making us a part of His amazing plan.

And somehow THAT also pleases Him very much. I don't know why He cares but He does care about us and about us knowing Him more and trusting in His love for us more each day.

Sis joanie, I value your advice and wisdom :) !! btw I have new reason to believe that 1 Cor 3:10-15 is a HIGHLY misinterpreted verse about losing/receiving eternal rewards in heaven. I will private message you about some things I've studied on this matter sometime in the future. Maybe I'll post it on this thread but I need to be truly prepared before I claim my new discovery as true. I'm not sure how long this'll take.

I need help from my bros and sisters here on CC!! Forgive me if this explanation of mine is not explained well.. I have recently come across some "Christians" idea that there are different degrees of eternal glory and happiness for each individual saint in heaven. They are trying to say that the joy between us (as individuals) and God will be contingent on the amount of rewards we get at the judgment seat of Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:10-15 & 2 Corinthians 5:10

They realize that Psalm 16:11 says that in the presence of God is fullness of joy and at his right hand there are pleasures for evermore. So they try to justify there stance by saying something around the lines of "Everyone will be full, but some containers will be larger than others." They are throwing in this "capacity" idea that each saint will have a fullness of joy but in larger or smaller capacities. According to them, the amount of rewards we get determines our capacity of joy, happiness, and relationship with God.

What do you guys have to say about this? Here are the links to the articles about all this.

Don't know if this would really apply, but this verse came to my mind as I was reading the OP

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:19)

According to the above verse, it appears to me that both great and least are still in the "kingdom of heaven," Yet, we should keep in mind that, in heaven, all the crowns of the 24 elders are cast at the foot of the throne. (Revelation 4:10-11 )

WE don't earn OUR own way. Nevertheless, I cannot grasp the "full" and "less full" capability idea. Wrong semantics as far as I am concerned, even if they might have a point. Heavy on the "might."
