The answer: NO.

Not that the Word of God is EVER enough for the idolatry of WoF/Prosperity lies:
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 1 Timothy 6:9.
...and they still follow the false gospel...and fight against those who expose the false teachers.
Unreal.
Not that the Word of God is EVER enough for the idolatry of WoF/Prosperity lies:

What do you seek to accomplish with this thread?
Just curious?
Do you actually want to help people stuck in the lie of the prosperity movement?
Or just jab at folks?
It's not about "getting along" its about teaching God's way and not the world's way.
Did Jesus condemn Saul for being a part of Stephen's death or did He open his eyes and make him into the Apostle Paul.
We don't know how God will use the people around us.
I would that we strive to be more like Stephen and Jesus (who prayed for those who killed them to be forgiven) and less like Saul and his hunt to kill Christians.
If that is weak,then i will be weak and rely upon God's strength.

Apples and oranges concerning Saul and Stephen. Use passages instead that deal with false teachings and teachers maybe? Also, this thread was started as a satirical laugh. G7 went on the attack here, I responded.

Note of interest is that after all this I was reading Titus 1 and this whole thing jumped out again, on rebuking false teachers, especially Titus 1:13.
In context these same false teachers were making making shameful gain (yes, it's a trait of false teachers) all the while the qualifications of an elder includes not being greedy of gain (1:7) as per God's instruction. This was to set the example between the true and the false teachers.
That would disqualify Osteen and many other from the ministry. But like I say, they (false prosperity preachers and their followers) won't let the Word of God get in their way, they'll just rip something out of context and pit it against clear instruction.

For the record I cannot say she is always doing this on purpose. I sense that perhaps she is trying to play peace maker on both sides, and taking jabs more often than not on those defending truth. Make a stand on the Word and stick with it, or not. Make up one's mind?
