IMO, arguing with Jayoish is pointless unless you enjoy the rhetorical exercise.

It seems to me that he is far more interested in publishing his thoughts than in being correct.
Whomever you are, you should be careful who you make legion with. I did provide proof of everything I said, unlike what Dave accused me of; however, you and him may choose to reject it. It is your choice. GOD made us all free will agents. We can choice life or death. I don't teach my opinion, I only stated what the Bible said. You can accept it or not!

I was told my a man who would know such things that the ancient Rabbis wrote that Abraham did kill his son and received him alive again. I know that this isn't worth much.

It's in some midrash sources. I think Rashi is one source for this.
