You don't understand the true Feasts of Yahweh. There are many Sabbath's that have nothing to do with it being the 7th day. Here's some great material that might help educate you: YahTube: Michael Rood - A Rood Awakening If you are truly interested in learning, start with the Fall Feasts and the Spring Feasts of the Lord. These are very educational, and will help you better understand the Bible you are reading and how these Sabbath's work.

How do you fit two Sabbaths in your reasoning?

Mary bought the spices after the high Sabbath, she prepared them and then rested on the seventh day Sabbath according to the fourth commandment. That means between the high Sabbath and the seventh day Sabbath there was a normal work day that allowed her to buy the spices. Do you see the problem when you believe a false doctrine, it causes the scriptures to contradict themselves.

The Bible says that Jesus took the physical day sabbath out of the way nailing it to His cross so nobody can tell you to keep a physical day of rest.

The Bible says that with stammering lips and another tongue God will speak to the people in the future and said this is the rest and the refreshing, yet they would not hear.

We go by a spiritual rest sabbath by the Holy Spirit.

The 7th day was given to the Jews to observe a physical day of rest in honor of this physical world.

Jesus said he went to prepare a place for us which is the New Jerusalem a spiritual world so we celebrate a spiritual rest in honor of that spiritual world the New Jerusalem.

That which is first is natural then that which is spiritual which the physical sabbath was a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ by the Holy Spirit, and Jesus took the physical odinances away which lists the physical sabbath.

The Bible says that the physical sabbath was made for man not man for the physical sabbath.
Really? Can you show me where it says that?

Jesus never, not even once, talked about Sunday but He
over and over again taught us how to honor the Sabbath in light of loving God and loving others.
Jesus affirmed all the laws, including those of animal sacrifice, which God has now set aside (Heb 7:18-19).

Would you refresh my memory as to the numerous different times Jesus taught about the Sabbath?

Jesus even confirmed the Sabbath forty years after His resurrection, Matthew 24:20.
That assumes Jesus knew the time of the destruction of Jerusalem,
even though he did not know the time of his second coming.

However, that they would reject him and still be offering animal sacrifices at its time, he did know.

His followers continued to honored the Sabbath, according to the commandment, after the death of Jesus, Luke 23:56. Any comments on the fact that Jesus never taught us to do away with seventh day Sabbath in order to honor Sunday?
Yes. . .

The NT is the revelation spoken by the Son himself in these last days
(Heb 1:1-2)
through the NT writers.

The Son tells us there, in Colossians 2:16-17:

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.”

God's Sabbath rest is unending.
Those in Christ through faith have entered into the reality
of God's unending Sabbath rest (Heb 4:9-10), and are now free
from observing what is only its shadow.

And in Romans 14:5 he tells us:

“One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.”

Those in Christ are free regarding Sabbath observance,
because everyday is a Sabbath rest for those who enter,
through faith in Jesus Christ,
into God's unending Sabbath rest since creation (Heb 4:9-10).

Thanks so much for the link, but so much interpretation of prophecy is not in agreement with NT teaching, that I do not find it helpful.

You are a liar, and a worker of iniquity. You are calling Messiah a sinner. You are saying he violated his Father's law, and he would never do that. He was the embodiment of that law. None of these passages have anything to do with dismissing the Sabbath. What a crock.

Please repent. Your soul is in danger, and with the words of your keyboard, you seek to drag others down your path of iniquity. Your lack of understanding of Yeshua's life and the world he lived in is appalling and you trying to dispute the Sabbath and convince others to sin is an abomination. Your ignorance of the true meaning of Paul's works and letters are revealed in every post, and the rude, sarcastic language you use shows not the fruit of the spirit, but the fruit of Satan. You are a lawless worker of iniquity seeking to lead others astray.

This is you:
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.” (Revelation 2:14).

The day will come when you will be judged. That day is coming speedily. Please humble yourself and hear the truth. At the very least, please stop leading others astray. If you can't be a light, at least stop spreading the darkness.
your entire post is a baseless slander...lies that only serve to show who you really belong to...

like i already explained...i never called jesus a sinner...even after i explained that jesus was not guilty of sin you continue to falsely claim that i am calling jesus a sinner...

jesus' breaking of the sabbath did not violate God's law because God specifically allows priests to break the sabbath and remain innocent of sin...priests such as jesus our high priest...and priests such as jesus' followers...a royal priesthood doing everything to the glory of God...

you talk about yeshua but you don't even know that he is our high priest...or that he is lord over the sabbath...you would make yeshua subject to a day he himself created...yeshua is lord of the sabbath but you have made the sabbath lord over yeshua...

you have taken a day of rest given by God...and elevated that day above God himself...so now you are an idol worshipper instead of a follower of yeshua...

so don't even try to correct me for some speck you imagine in my eye until you pull the log of idolatry out of your own eye...

michael rood is a known false teacher and false prophet...known for rewriting any scripture that contradicts his teaching...such as the book of zechariah...or even openly and unequivocally rejecting scripture that doesn't fit his ideas...such as john 6:4...and also known for making numerous failed predictions...including a claim that the day of the lord would be september 11, 1999...later revised to may 5, 2000...and revised again to september 18, 2001...under the law he himself claims to promote he should have been stoned for false prophecy!

rood is rejected by the majority of messianic jews...he even got fired from his own ministries...not once but twice!

but if it wasn't obvious before then it should be obvious to everyone now...you have been led completely astray...

'...for the people of God'
'...τῷ λαῷ τοῦ θεοῦ'

Hebrews 4:1-11 could easily be interpreted to require the Hebrews to maintain the commandment because of the apriori covenant with Abraham; which may explain the citations cited above in Matthew and Luke; however, Collosians 2:16-17 may forgive such a requirement for those who are not recognized among 'the people of God' making aspects of the covenant with Abraham, such as circumcision and keeping the Sabbath day holy, secondary to the acceptance of Jesus as savior.

Not if you know the Scriptures.

The sign of the Abrahamic covenant was circumcision, not the Sabbath.

which may explain the citations cited above in Matthew and Luke;
What citations?
You gave no citations in Mt and Lk.

however, Collosians 2:16-17 may forgive such a requirement for
those who are not recognized among 'the people of God' making aspects of the covenant with Abraham, such as circumcision and keeping the Sabbath day holy,
secondary to the acceptance of Jesus as savior.
The right hand giveth what the left had taketh away.

Now, that's a wop-sided understanding based in complete ignorance of Scripture.

That's the kind of stuff you get from a troll.

Are you a troll?

Paul's manner was to keep the Sabbath and he did not EVER reference Sunday as a day of worship.
Of course...he was a Jew and he went there to preach to unbelievers. He could find many such unbelievers in Sabbath keeping churches today. A great missionary field.

Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

And remember, this was years after the resurrection of Jesus.

Because they die off and people open them back up a month and a half latter.... :)
That seems to be the truth.
A sad truth,
but truth all the same.

If we were to care about such topics, then there would not be several verses telling is to not be wasting our time over discussions of Sabbaths.
So physically minded,
But even so, their stubbornness is forgiven in Christ.

I'm excited for the coming Sabbath :)
I have some extended family coming over for the first time in a few years.

Don't worry. I'll refrain from working, just for the sake of your consciences.
I'll do all the yard work tomorrow, and finish before sunset :)

Another reason why NT believers attended synagogue with the Jews is because they weren't clear about their relationship to Judaism in the early years. Christianity also wasn't a recognized state religion in the Roman empire. Christians were viewed with suspicion due to the fact that they were atheists by the Roman definition...all those who failed to worship the Roman emperor were deemed atheists EXCEPT for the Jews..they were granted a special exemption by the Roman government. So, being associated with the Jews provided some level of protection for Christians. In addition, Christians were considered to be unpatriotic. They were also considered to be amoral as false rumors concerning the Lord's Supper and the "love feasts" were spread...the Lord's Supper was twisted into some sort of cannibalistic ceremony and the love feasts were twisted into orgies. To be associated with Judaism protected Christians to some degree.

Quite often Christians would go to services with Jews on Saturday and meet together as a church on Sunday. The event which forced them to back away from this practice and separate from the Jews occurred in AD130. Rabbi Akiva declared Simeon ben Kosiba the Messiah, forcing Christians to divorce themselves from the Jews. Obviously a real follower of Jesus Christ wouldn't affirm this man as Messiah.

There were Gentile converts to Judaism too. Traditionally, Roman citizens viewed their purpose as extending the fair and noble government of the Romans to less civilized areas of the world. After the Roman republic degenerated into an empire, Romans began seeking meaning for their lives,as they didn't sense the same purpose of being as before..it left a spiritual void in their lives.

Judaism held a particular fascination for them. They were interested in ancient truths, and the Bible goes back all the way to the beginning. They converted to Judaism. Gentiles were assembling on the Sabbath at synagogues to hear the teachings of the Jews. This was another ripe mission field for the apostles.

There's nothing about this verse that teaches non Jews were required to keep the Sabbath.

I would also ask the question to you...if Sabbath keeping was required of all Christians, why do we find a conspicuous absence of this in the NT scriptures? I would expect to see incidences where slaves would be in conflict with their masters over their refusal to work on Saturday. Instead, I see nothing in this regard.

Do you believe the teachings of Jesus is for you? Well, He didn't have to teach which day the Sabbath was but He surely had to teach us how to honor the Sabbath. His teachings put the Sabbath back in it's right perspective in that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. Jesus removed all the ritualistic and religious baggage that religious man placed on the Sabbath. Jesus taught over and over again on how to honor that Sabbath in light of the details of life. If you follow Jesus, who is Lord of the Sabbath, you will find yourself calling the Sabbath, the Lord's day. If you follow Jesus and teach His ways to your city you and your whole city will gather every Sabbath to hear the word of God.

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

The Sabbath is special time to God. It's blessed, sanctified and holy as part of creation. God set it aside for His family gathering. There is a special blessing attached to honoring the seventh day just like there is a special blessing when we honor our parents.
According to Deut chapter 5:2,3,12,13,14 God gave the Sabbath day only to the Jews to keep and it was not ever given to just any one, any "family" to keep. Nowhere was the Gentile or Christian ever commanded to keep the Sabbath day. As Paul put it, no one has the right to hang the OT law "yoke of bondage" around the neck of others to keep. Keeping the OT law cannot, does not justify anyone. Rom 7:1-7 it is sinful for a Christian who is married to Christ and Christ's NT gospel to try and keep both the law of Moses and Christ's gospel at the same time. Paul compares this to an adulteress woman trying to keep two husbands at the same time.

Well the sabbath day was the seventh day, but God changed it and said sabbath day is today, this simply means everyday is sabbath day, God did not put an end to the sabath day. those who tell you that, you must be careful

This is what you've been told but this is not found in the Bible. First of all the term, Jew, was the name for only one of the twelve tribes of Israel. The seventh day was blessed before sin and before a Jew and even before a Law protecting it. Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, not only Jewish people. Israel was to be a light to the world of the ways of God. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. Jesus never once talked about Sunday but He taught over and over again about honoring the Sabbath in light of the details of life. The Sabbath was honored by Jesus, Paul and the early church, Acts 13:42, 13:44, Luke 23:56. Jesus confirmed the Sabbath would still be the Sabbath even 40 years after His resurrection, Matthew 24:20. The Sabbath, as well as, the entire Law will be taught and obeyed in the millennium. The church didn't replace Israel. The new covenant is made with Israel so if you believe the church replaced Israel you are outside of the new covenant, without hope and without God in the world.
