how about because I felt drawn here because I want to share what the Savior has done and is doing in my life, seems no matter the details of how one believe, we all share a common Spirit, and when we get together in one place even in the midst of disagreements and misunderstandings, there remains a common bond to our great redeemer and each recognizes in themselves and others here a desire for something more then this dark and dying world has to offer.

I'm in the same boat. We need each other to learn what the Lord has shown us. None of us know it all. Those that think they know it all in a subject - have no mechanism in place to reveal that they don't know it all. Paul says. "To those that think they know something - they don't know it as they "ought" to know it."

I am vehemently against anything that takes the place of what Christ has already done. - which I suppose would fit the bill of your statement - "I want to identify, rebuke and share the gospel with false teachers. "

I've changed so much because of the people on this site with their strong conviction. I cannot ask for better people to share eternity with. I came here weak and stupid and while I'm still weak I'm a little less stupid now lol. Thank you my brother's and sisters for helping me grow in Christ! :)

I am here to discuss Biblical principles, and to hear what others think, and believe. It seems as I get older, I have more questions than I used to. I prefer to think it is the Spirit working in me, pushing me to test my beliefs against what I "know" from 50+ years of Bible reading/study. I also believe that a healthy discussion with people you may very well NOT agree with is a mind broadening and mind sharpening exercise.

As many of you know, I don't mind telling someone that I disagree with them... sometimes more harshly than I intend, as I always want to disagree with gentleness and respect... but I don't see it as my mission here to seek out and rebuke those that are (as I see it) wrong about their scriptural beliefs.

And, you all should be very glad I am NOT here for that..... lol fire and brimstone.jpg

is"n't it awesome to be able to share and fellowship with brethren form around the world; and to know that we the church have not failed in spreading the gospel. we may not be we we are supose to be with the spreading of the gospel but we are certainly not where we use to be lol
Through cc i can see the advancement of the church despite all the challenges and false teachings. " on this Rock i will build my church and the gates of hell SHALL NOT prevail!!!". praise be to his Holy Name
