To proclaim the word of God to a lost and dying world. To encourage believers and to refute unbelievers. To stand for the truth and to point others to Christ Who alone is able to save them.

The word of God is two edged and ministers to the speaker as well if not more to the hearer.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

All of us have a story to tell. And mine was religion. I was stuck in religion. I didn't like it,I constantly struggled with it. But I couldn't pin point the problem, everybody else seemed to be liking it and seemed comfortable. Getting saved was AMAZING, but this "white knuckle" life afterwards SUCKED. I was ready to leave it all.

Coincidence? I think not. God stepped in and sent me to my right pastor teacher. He taught Grace and freedom in Christ. I could then pin point my problem.

I came to forums to pronounce this freedom and Grace. Show the bondage religion puts us in.

One thing that becomes very clear. there are a lot of believers who LIKE religion. They are comfortable there. They don't want more. I don't understand it, but it becomes very apparent after a while.

So yeah, it becomes grace and Knowledge against tradition and ritual without reality or religion.

Mostly just to belong to an online Christian community. I used to a regular on a (once) large online community. But after I came to Christ, I like completely and for real just didnt feel comfortable there anymore. It was not a Christian friendly site : p It was very much a mostly atheist site that claimed all Christians were bigots and oppressive, ect ect, and when someone on there said something about wanting to find the right "religion", theyd tell them "you just have to find the one that fits you", as if the truth is like shopping for a tshirt, and youd very much be put to shame if you pushed them to Christ.

The more I walked away from there, the more I felt the uhhh emptiness I guess of not having an online community to be a part of. I decided I wanted to find a Christian site, I looked at a few but felt that this one was the place for me : p (Though I wasnt always real active for a long time).

So yeah, TL;DR, mostly to have online fellowship. But, also, I really feel a need to encourage others to stand in their faith in Him. Im in a position where I have absolutely no problem being faithful to Him and following Him. And I want to encourage others that they can feel that way, too. I wanna fight against any doubt that the world is forcing on His people whenever I can, and encourage those who do follow Him that they are right in doing so : p

Whether or not I succeed at that, I dunno : p But its definitely the way I want to spend my life.

Utah....we think too much alike sometimes. My first thought was, because my parole officer won't let me chat anywhere else.....but then I saw your post....:p Get out of my head!! It's dark and spooky in there. :rolleyes:

I also needed to learn how to speak proper, like, you know, with the words right
placed, like errrrrrr. There are so many people who correct me want they to do,
it encouraging is much so...so much help, and advice much also...
