ALL those who ever lived partake of the second judgment (resurrection)
They are resurrected to be judged for a witness and a testimony and to know that the Lord is indeed real to their shame for their harsh words against Him.
That is everyone who did not follow Christ, and even the Christians who did not follow in Spirit and truth.
These all will be judged by their works.
A very hard judgment to pass.

The first resurrection partakers can never die again.
Can you die?
I can.
The Apostles did.
So we can not be resurrected at this present time then.

When we are resurrected we will be made like the our brethren the angels...immortal spirit.
For flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God.

Whoever hears His word and believes has passed from death unto life (spiritual) John 5:24-25 (KJV)

This is the resurrection Revelation 20:6 (KJV) talks about.

I see people pretty quick to judge Israel, but seem a biiiiit lax when you consider what's going on around them. It sort of reminds me of the old question: You're on an airplane in the Mid-East. It's somehow damaged and you have to land somewhere. Where do you want to land: On an Israeli airport, or a Palestinian one? It's funny how most people would rather land in Israel. Go figure.

I mean, why should Israel plan a war against a country whose president has said Israel must be "wiped off the map"? Certainly planning a pre-emptive strike would be foolish, especially with a country that's working hard to build up a nuclear program. I mean, it's not as if Israel wouldn't use nukes immediately on their enemies once they had them. Except for the fact that they haven't.

No, that is not what you were saying.
You were saying that they were included in this.
They of the old covenant.
You were wrong.
So don't try changing your meaning.
tell us what the "Old Covenant" was.
tell us why anyone born under the Old Covenant was excluded from the New?

was God left scratching His head when SOME jews rejected Jesus, wringing His Hands and LUCKY FOR GENTILES He came up with PLAN B?

I've tended to find that people who think their side of the argument are speaking pure unvarnished truth, while anything that contradicts that must be getting their views from propoganda, are a bit disconcerting, to say the least. I mean, you remember the Reuters scandal? The one where there was unmistakable evidence of photographers staging photos and photoshopping pictures to make Israel look bad? Or the fabricated interview of Sharon? I knew more than one person whose worldview was a bit shaken upon learning that what they knew about Israel was in fact being shaped and twisted by people who, far from being the unbiased media, had an axe to grind and were using their positions to promote their own worldview by faking photos. Zone, you've said that the MSM can't be trusted, and that's certainly true. But don't you think that the sources you look to for the news might not ALSO be compromised?

In other words God planned from before the beginning of the world; and creation for that matter, that His Son would be slain as the SACRIFICIAL LAMB.
Meaning it was PREORDAINED.
Declaring the end at the beginning.
Thats the meaning.

All those of old were under ONE law.
The priesthood did not change until Christ.
No dual covenant then or now or future.
Man could only go through Christ the door AFTER His death, not before, the door wasn't opened yet.
The testament is not in effect until the testator is dead.
So these are not yet saved through Christ.
It was not available either in the physical nor spiritual world until after crucifiction.

Knowing He was to come does not equal being subject to the new covenant and its grace.
Otherwise, Moses, Isaiah and all the prophets would have lived that way instead of being burdened with the old law.
Knowing a law is to come does not mean it is in effect UNTIL it actually comes into effect.
[/QUOTE]Yes that is correct.

I could take you through Romans 5 or 1Peter 3..and lots of other scripture
but your attitude really blows me off.
Ooh really. Why cant you answer the question yet?

Look at you people. You really blow me away! You are not representatives of Christ or else you would know the answer.

You are all going about in circles. You do not know what you believe, because you have been feeding on strange flesh.

You all say that Israel misses out on Salvation because it was given to the gentiles.

Now you all say that Israel is saved because God is Christ and they already went through him.

You still have not got the correct answer.

Just a simple answer please. The correct one.

occassionally i come across jews who come to Christ yet still defend the nation in Palestine, making claims they are Hebrews, making claims that there's unfinished business ahead for flesh israel. still in covenant and such.

more often jews i know who come to Christ care more about His Truth than talmudic zionism.

i wonder why the dichotomy. dispensationalism i suppose.

I expect an answer to my question.

Jesus said no man can come to the father but by me

so the question is
What will happen to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea and the rest of the prophets? Are they all lost? Because the word of God cannot be broken. Jesus said I am the door, no man can come to the father but by me.

No trick of the tongue please.
God's word cannot be broken...
They went to paradise were Jesus went after His death and gave them the gospel/preached to those in prison. They went through Jesus to get to the Father

This is a possible misunderstanding of something Peter wrote.

While my beliefs are not theirs, they are still also my people and I love them, because I have faith that someday they will see the truth. Perhaps Yeshua feels the same way. I'd like to think so. And yes I DO feel there's still unfinished business for them yet. They have yet to look upon Him who they have pierced, for one.

Your people are your sisters and brothers in Christ first.., then your fleshly nation second. Why do people demand we treat Jewish unbelievers differently from other unbelievers?

Didnt they look upon him at the resurrection? Didnt they weep for him then?
