Yes we should be like Jesus was, Quiet spirit, not here to hert even a reed.
But even Christ himself thrust them out of his temple when it was warrented.

Is this post about other people?
Haha! You see how circular it is, right?
It can be exhausting because He chases us down with it all the time!
But it's better to eat a dry crust in peace than to be blind so you can't even see to eat it!

In the BDF i mean. People calling each other liars and heretics? Where people seem to be more concerned with everybody else's salvation? As if they're "on a mission from God" to put someone in their place. Is that what the Christian walk means to people? An outward circumstance in relation to ourselves? Seems like so much of the world even acts that way. They just use a different language.
Not to be facetious, but Pot, meet Kettle....

I guess...but His house was quieted perfectly so He had the paygrade to do it.
I just keep finding that the more I see what prevents me from throwing a stone, the more reasons for not throwing it I come across! It's like noticing one small zit and then going to the makeup mirror and realizing that they're everywhere but my eyes were too old to see them!

Im pretty sure lynns opinion of me is less than stellar. I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm the most selfish person on the planet. Which I probably am in certain areas. I've been kicked around pretty good in life from the time I was a wee lad.

Well, take heart, because I'm pretty sure lynnes' opinion of herself isn't any more stellar than her opinion of you!

You know....once I actually begin to eat this pie instead of complaining about how no one else ever eats it....I realize it starts out very bitter in my stomach but that I develop an odd taste for it...:D

So much so that I find I want to stop trying to force a piece of it on anyone else and just eat it all myself...

The medium is strange.

If I have to listen to someone, I hear their words, word by word.
I give them space.

Here you can read a few ideas, get a gist and fire off, often without properly filtering
it for public consumption.

So we go from a partly understood point, to too strong an unfiltered, not thought through
response and boom, a camp division is made.

The medium then makes small insuations simple to apply while appearing innocent or
gentle. Tempers rise and emotions take over. And all because of a lack of reading, taking
time, thinking it through and then commenting in a considered manner.

Probably 99% of the interactions would be different if this was done.

Most people have little bad feeling about anyone, but this quickly can change when sensitivities
are crossed.

I remember being told how well crafted my comments were to bring about a certain result, when
I was just sharing the way I share. But a few sentences sometimes carry unexpected meaning for
others so good will, and expecting the best of others really does help, rather than labelling them
from the pit, or the worst thing since the beginning of time etc. :)

I am so very despicable to myself sometimes and want a divorce.
Huh? The pie made me say that!

We are all on a mission to God. I hope our aim is to help one another.
Those with a mission from God probably need to get to the back of the queue and we will
get to them when we have managed to sort out how to actually love and respect each other.

For the most part I feel that I am a pretty selfish person and only through the guidance of the Holy Spirit do I move beyond me to move in Him and His love.
Amen to that.

Yep that is true. When we get how to love each and respect each other then God can use us.

I wonder if we were field mice we would be more humble.

We were camping in east anglia, a part of the UK in the East of the country, and in the morning
these minute field mice came out and were feeding on grass seeds. They were so cute and careful.

Jesus came

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.
Matt 12:20

Sometimes it is like commandos putting things right, when the crowd are walking
wounded.

I think you shouldn't resist eating a piece of humble pie. We will just hold you down and force you to eat a piece.
