Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.

We all accept that the above is true, however how does the word Jesus, alone, explain what the Angel instructed Mary?

Simple, it doees not, nor will the name Yeshua alone explain anything here, but

When we translate the names componet words, we find that thoroughly translated, the Angles says to call the Babe "The Salvation of God (Yah)"

I find this clarification refreshing, underscoring the understanding of what and why the Angel gave this specific instruction, and a general blessing.

Now, unell you want to go through life calling Jesus, The Salvation of Yah, you may as well accept all the ways this has been transliterated,, that being many but foremost, Jesus, Yeshua, Yesu, Iesous, and much more.

God bless all who actually read this post and understand the simplicity of this entire thread..........No you do not need to call our Salvation Yeshua, but you it is practical to learn and understand what the Angel was saying. If this rubs anyone the wrong way, it is because they need a rubbing...........God bless all in Jesus Christ, amen.
The same can be said for Joshua, who lead Israel into the promised land. However, the Greek name is known through out the world and is the name that sets men free. It is JESUS, amen

Not so! The Angel of the Lord pronounced this to Mary.

The same can be said for Joshua, who lead Israel into the promised land. However, the Greek name is known through out the world and is the name that sets men free. It is JESUS, amen

Yes, you did.

This was your example of "tremendous value". And in this example the person you talk about is being pleased that you try to speak his name natively, so the value is purely emotional.

God is not human. And God is not Jewish. Nor American or Chinese. He knows when you call him in whatever language.
Oh brother.....

So you think that because I said there is value in using the name "Yeshua," I am saying God is more pleased than if I say "Jesus?" It seems you are trying really hard to make a bigger stink than is necessary; maybe out of a desire to make a bigger argument.

So let's go through some parallels:

Is there tremendous value in reading Scripture in Greek? Is God more pleased than if I only read in English? No.
Is there tremendous value in going to Israel? Is God more pleased than if I never go? No.
Is there tremendous value in going on oversees mission trips? Is God pleased than if I only do local mission trips? No.
Is there tremendous value in going to seminary? Is God more pleased than if I do not? No.

Just because there is tremendous value in something doesn't mean everything other than that is lessened. "Tremendous value" means there is value to us in doing something.

Stop trying to make arguments out of something that isn't there.
