Back in the 70's and 80's various charismatic groups and pentecostal groups pushed
this idea. As with most things it becomes a simple label.
There are groups where people have testified being put in babbling classes, where
you talk gibberish and it becomes tongues. The idea is stepping out in God and it
will flow.
They take the same view on healing. Lay hands on everybody and pray. Eventually
some will be healed.
So these groups do still exist today, but this kind of behaviour is just fake and goes
contrary to just having faith in Christ.
Other versions of the label proves salvation exist in doctrine, like OSAS will become
a dividing line, or do you criticise this preacher or teaching etc.
I think in the nature of people is to decide who is friend or foe, and make your
contacts on this basis.
Some say fruit is the true sign of a christian, and then others that this is an
evil idea, and condemn "fruit" inspectors. So the world of faith rumbles on, lol.
