You do realize francis is the first pope in over 500
years to verbally back a crusade recently.
The knights of Columbus have sent millions to Iraqi Christians recently to buy food and arms it is even on their web site
Is the knights of Columbus under Pope?

Very much so. Someone leaves their KoC magazines in our laundry room here and I read them.

But, what I find sad is -- that while we're all here debating and not in unity on most topics - this United Religion is doing just that -- Uniting and we don't even know about it or who the key players are.

Oh well - argue on. Their persecution of His Sheep will bring us together, once and for all time.

Amen brother, we're not in unity and have our own view, but let not forget our main task, it is love each other.

we express our view because love not to degrading other. Regardless if in the end of the day we found out that our view is wrong, but when we express it we think it is right and we tray to help each other to understand correctly what is the real view.

Just because someone is Catholic, please don't assume every Catholic worships Mary.
Catholics don't worship Mary. It's against the teaching of the Church. Worship is for God only. :)

Well we hope they don't.
Depends which church.
It doesn't depend which Church. The Roman Catholic Church teaches so. We honour and revere Mary, because she was the mother of Jesus. And rightly so, that is an incredibly honoured and dignified role. But we don't worship her as a god. We ask her to pray for us to God in the same way as I might ask you to pray for me. :)

1 Timothy 2:[SUP]5 [/SUP]For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

Yet Catholic claims Mary mediates

from a Catholic site:

"Mary, Mother of Salvation How to Explain the “Co-Redemptrix” to Evangelicals"

"She is the Mediatrix. She wants to help you with your prayers and bring you closer to God."
Mary, Mother of Salvation | Catholic Answers

Scripture says different:

1 Timothy 2:[SUP]5 [/SUP]For One is Yahweh; and One Mediator between Yahweh and men: the Man,Yahshua Messiah
True.

Here's what I found at CATHOLIC LIBRARY: Iucunda Semper Expectatione (1894) The Catholic Encyclopedia
"2. The recourse we have to Mary in prayer follows upon the office she continuously fills by the side of the throne of God as Mediatrix of Divine grace; being by worthiness and by merit most acceptable to Him, and, therefore, surpassing in power all the angels and saints in Heaven. Now, this merciful office of hers, perhaps, appears in no other form of prayer so manifestly as it does in the Rosary. For in the Rosary all the part that Mary took as our co-Redemptress comes to us, as it were, set forth, and in such wise as though the facts were even then taking place; and this with much profit to our piety, whether in the contemplation of the succeeding sacred mysteries, or in the prayers which we speak and repeat with the lips."

Office? Next to the Throne of God doing Jesus' duties. Mom took over from Son?

The volumes of errors in the RCC are sickening. It is not good read, folks. Use sparingly.

On top of all their longstanding Vatican perversions we have the world seeing the Pope as representative of all Christianity, as has been historically consistent. In these probably last days we have a female usurper of Jesus, 'Mary the spiritual mother of all men in anti-type of Eve, the flesh mother of all men', determining which of our prayers get through. In these dangerous times the world is pairing up the image of a desperate, weak Pope with a desperate, wimp of a U.S. President, the dismantler of the world's greatest superpower. The natural conclusion for Islam is this is the time when Israel will have the least help since 1948, while Europe will be handed over to them with ease. Their terrorists have already infiltrated, prepared to bring all those nations to their knees. With forced conscripts out of Europe, Africa, and misled volunteers from the U.S. and allies, Islam can take the Asian continent in a matter of weeks using but a tiny force of scattered terrorists, ruling even Russia which is very weak in economy. Then all will pour down together from Moscow in a great routing of Israel, with Jesus meeting them with a shout.......

Just a thought....

Mary has no intercessory powers...there is 1 (ONE) mediator between God and MEN and HIS name is JESUS

Jesus + no one= 1 (ONE)
Jesus + Mary=2 (TWO)
Jesus + Pope=2 (TWO)
Jesus + ANYONE=MORE THAN ONE

For there is ONE mediator between GOD and MEN, the MAN Christ JESUS!

That is a lie. Just because you say it doesn't make it so. The word tells us to look at actions and not listen to idle words. The catholic church's actions are completely different from it's talk. You absolutely idolize Mary. You put her on a pedestal above all other women, something Christ was very careful to avoid. See Matthew 12:48-50. Any number of women would have gladly volunteered to bear the Son of God had they been asked. God chose Mary, and the only thing that elevates her, as it does all of us, is being saved and serving God.

"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."

The catholic church claims Mary intercedes to God for us and scripture clearly states that is not true: "
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" ............"One mediator"...you can count, can't you? You do know how many one is, don't you?

This verse describes the catholic church: "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me."

I have heard it said on this forum, and others, that there are some catholics who don't believe as the church does, that they are saved and don't believe all the catholic doctrine. That too, is a lie. If you want to go to heaven, you must leave any church that teaches lies.

"Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue"
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
A voice from heaven has told you to leave the catholic church. If you stay you will be participants of her sins. No two ways about it.

It is a false religion and I will sit here all day and prove with scripture the evil it does if you wish.

More than just a thought, but absolute truth

"The volumes of errors in the RCC are sickening. It is not good read, folks. Use sparingly"

Centuries of building a false "church" on the ambitions of men

The other monolithic house of cards is Islam ..... even more apostate if you can believe it

One can see the devil's hand in both

And it is this one that will produce his "antichrist" to come ..... the "Assyrian" [Micah 5]

I've heard that it is called the United Religion, Brother DC.

Clinton and Blair both have "Faith Intitiatives" and Rick Warren's been involved especially as well ... just for one from the U.S..
Yeah quite a few have been involved and all (big) names within religion and religions....I even hear that Joel Osteen is participating behind the scenes...all headed to a one world religion under the beast at the end of the age!

Do you ever ask people to pray for you?
Mary has no intercessory power before God...she was a honorable woman who was faithful to God and God chose her to bear the son of God....she was a sinner just like everyone else and needed redemption like ALL need redemption...and everybody I know prays to the Heavenly Father dia JESUS as HE is the ONE who stands before the Father's throne making intercession for humanity!

ONLY ONE can GO to GOD for humanity and sorry, but Mary is not the ONE as that role belongs to Jesus!

Do your prayers have no power?
