Jesus was a racist bigot who hated women...and a whole race of people.

I'm reminded of the woman at the well..........and that woman who pestered the Judge so often and so long that he finally gave in and did what she begged him to do........

A "sidebar" lesson I take from these is that when we pray to God for something, keep praying. Don't just pray once and then when it doesn't happen, we just give up. Keep praying, and praying, and praying...........anyway.........

Interesting that you think that Jesus inclusive attitude concerning people is a leftist one....maybe it is. I for one am glad that He is inclusive.
You shaped the truth of God into a leftist conversation, using leftist and political terms. His inclusive intentions was never and should never be confused with the leftist terms you decided to use. In fact you seem to lack the understanding that it was perfectly correct under the law for the Lord to use harsh terms with this lady to teach the different covenants and His intention to change those covenants between God and man.

Yes. Because the bible, God and Jesus are one dimensional and the scriptures are devoid of deeper truths.
So you think the leftist ideas are "deeper" truth? No! ... God despises the leftist ideas of this world because they are not based on desires to unite all men unto Christ...but unite all men under false political system that at its very core rejects Christ and His truth.

Yes the truth of Gods Word is far above any of this left-wing nonsense and terms designed to bring others into a false truth.

There is no left wing right wing at all here. The only person that brought politics into it is you friend. This thread is obviously for you imo. And I mean that in a good way. Even the disciples had personal bias based on the love of self that Jesus had to expose in them.

No again your really missing the part where the LAW (old testament) commanded these men to see these non-jews in a certain way....and the point of the Lord was not some political idea of racism but to teach us all about the New Covenant and unity based on Who He is, not some PC idea that you seem to see or think was being taught? Christ did not come to teach PC ideas. The idea that you would equate his motives with the modern concepts of racial equality, is a little insulting and misses His intentions all together.

What I find interesting is that you can so assuredly describe Jesus intentions in that moment and time.....and in such a black and white fashion. It's funny how seeing yourself on film or hearing yourself on tape in your worst moment can shine a little light on a persons black heart. All I'm saying is that Jesus was teaching his disciples and that he exposed their "exclusive" mindsets for them to see for themselves. Not sure what is so hard to understand about that. If you wanna put Jesus in a box with your personal bias's you are sure welcome to it.

and furthermore, your interpretation of that section of scripture contradicts the very nature of God that the bible portrays Him to be.

Funny how you reason within your modern concepts of morality and seem completely unwilling to reason this passage of scripture based on what we know was written to Jews in regards to the gentile nations in the law? This was a covenant discussion, a teaching based on the truth of what was written and what Christ came to change in regards to Jews and gentiles ... To just say the Jews was racist and bigots is just biblically ignorant and to use modern leftist terms to describe what Christ is teaching, is just evidence of the spiritual blindness that comes upon those who are in bondage to the PC god of this world.

I guess you told me. I wonder what the Jewish word is for hating a whole group of people? Did they consider that word PC? I wonder what the Jewish word for pc is? Heck, maybe the Jews considered Jesus pc (only they used a Jewish word for it) and nailed him to a cross for it.

Well the PC word or term of that time would have been "Hellenism" which was the bringing in of Greek concepts into the traditional ideas of the Jews.. Its would have been silly to have seen what Christ was doing or saying in the terms of Hellenism just as its silly to see what He was teaching in terms of the modern PC ideas. He was speaking and acting in terms of what was written in the Old Covenant and showing the covenant to come. To claim the Jews of that time was just racist and bigots and not consider why they acted a certain way towards others and non-jews is to miss the lesson of Christ altogether.

I'm pretty sure You just made my point. Lol. It's just you're hung up on a word or words instead of seeing the attitude that the word is describing.

Well I made a clear point...to those who understand that Jesus did things based on what was written for thousands of years In the covenant ...not some modern ideas of racial justice that Jesse Jackson or Al (hands up) Sharpton would teach.

If your now agreeing with my point? Thanks because I didn't want to make you mad again :)

Well the bible would not have used the term (left-wing) nonsense ...that's again a modern term..which is part of my point as well. That one should not use modern political terms to define the Work of Christ...one should use biblical terms to have a biblical discussion.

Lol. No man. It's the attitude behind the words. Take the word bigot and racist off the table for a second and think about the attitude that a person holds in regards to another person in a negative light ....who is different than them. All I am saying is that Jesus modeled to his disciples their bad attitudes about the Canaanite woman.

One time when my son was about 3 he had a tantrum in the store cuz he couldn't get something. I simply modeled his tantrum for him to see for himself. I threw myself on the floor and cried and banged my fists on the floor while other people stood and watched it unfold. My son stood there embarrassed and shocked at his dad's behavior. When I was done I said to him. "That is what is looked and felt like when you did that." He has never had a tantrum since that day.

Ok...fair enough...but to take that discussion out of what was written to the Jews and how according to the law that they was supposed to separate themselves and even reject these people as it relates to the things of God and then use completely modern political terms to describe them...misses the intention

I don't think it misses the intention at all. Jesus was teaching his disciples that there is a new way and a new law and you guys need to cast off your bad attitudes about the gentiles and about the non-jewish...and that ALL who come to me can drink.

I have heard (though I dont know the verse) that the OT does allow Gentiles into Israel, as long as they make the sacrifice of the lamb.

(Maybe someone can clear that up, if they know which verse I mean?)

But, that would mean that in the times of the OT, that God allowed Gentiles to worship Him in His land.

And there are prophecies (I think in Kings) about how the Gentiles would in fact come to Israel to worship Him.
