If you believe that faith alone saves you without works then Judas would be saved. He still believed in Jesus, he just had a moment of weakness.

His works testify to his faith. If he did not betray Jesus, the scripture would not have been fulfilled.

Adam represents all of mankind or the male. Even in the N.T we find that whosoever believes Ge gives the power to become "sons" of God. If this is taken to be literal then either no female will be saved or they all will be changed to males.

Why speculate about the eternal destiny of 1 man, when obviously nobody knows the eternal destiny of anyone except maybe themselves.

This is why the world is the way it is. We are not to be without hope in the world as those who do not know God. We are to be of the same mind and judgement. That can only happen with the belief that Jesus will save all men as He came to do. How else can perfect love cast out all fear?
