Listen, you walk into Spherical's thread and slanderously say behind our backs that his whacked out beliefs are comparable to the beliefs of Christianity. Then you, a proclaimed agnostic, proceed to use an ATHIEST argument(who are the biggest proponents of evolution, and reject the Biblical creation) to defend your position! And you scream we are hypocrites! You are just here to cause trouble and mock/attack the Word of God!
you don't understand a basic thing: agnosticism is a knowledge claim, I'm an agnostic because i do not know.
atheism is a belief claim, it is a lack of belief in theism. i am also an atheist because i do not believe in God. the two position are complementary; one could also be an agnostic and a theist, it wouldn't be contradictory. belief and knowledge are not the same thing.
and actually evolution is not an atheist argument at all, lots of believer understand and accept evolution, evolution is not incompatible with God at all, ask the catholics

You must have forgotten the first page of this thread when you clearly denied being an athiest:

No i m an agnostic who would like to respectfully ask what make you sure you are right about god

But you claim on this page you are a duo agnostic/athiest.....you are the one confused with your circular logic!

LOL. You think protestants are going to agree with Catholics just because a papist said it? Wow, you call yourself informed and believe you are up to date? You are centuries behind! LOLOLOL

i never denied being an atheist, since you like checking old post got check what i say in post #38.

you are also confused about the concept of circular logic, circular logic is when you assume the conclusion of your argument in your premise. i really don't think i'm guilty of that... do you understand the difference between belief and knowledge? i'm simply saying that i do not know if God exists or not and that I lack belief in God. what's the problem with that?

Magenta, please, make an effort... are you denying the catholics believe in God AND in evolution? you don't have to agree, and i'm also familiar with the difference in creed, but catholics accept evolution and they are christians, believe it or not.

Okay, well, while you drink the Kool-Aid and wait for the mothership, do some research. There is a monster difference in protestant Christianity and Catholic Christianity. I will say, you speak more as a New-age atheist than that of an agnostic. Why? Because you are pretty bent that you are correct. Though you have weak evidence and weak theology.

My goodness, you think we should agree with Roman Catholics just because they are Roman Catholics? Do your appeals to authority have absolutely no rhyme or reason? Historically Catholics and Protestants parted company centuries ago. Your logical fallacies are getting bizarre.

Word to the mothership... Word to the mothership... Come in, mothership...

Seriously, though. In many cases those differences are only superficial.

What is important is whether or not the aim of the church in question is to serve God in truth above all else, avoiding petty squabbling and wild, unethical doctrine.

Really...

The catholic church has a long history of twisting truth to serve its own desires, up to and including denying the general public written copies of the bible and implementing policies designed to deny the divinity of Christ in direct contradiction to scripture.

We COULD take into account involvement in terrorist actions and propaganda campaigns if we really wanted to...
