Just sharing a few thoughts on love....

I believe as I know many of you do as well that is it only through God's Law that any of us know what sin is because sin is the transgression of God's Law (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4). As it is written What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. It is only through God's Word that we have a knowledge of sin as the last scripture shows. The battle however is for the mind. Who has the thoughts? What do we love to think about the most? Who or what has our warmest and highest affections? This is why Jesus says; For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:20). It is only God's Law (10 commandments) that can bring us to the foot of the cross where we are all undone at the feet of Jesus where we can see our Savior. (Galatians 3:24-25). We must see ourselves as God sees us. Sinners in need of a Saviour will all our righteousness as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). This is why Jesus says; They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Matthew 8:12-13).

It is be grace that we are saved through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God lest any man should boast and we follow him by faith as we resist temptation and walking not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Word of God). (Ephesians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 10:13; James 1:12; Romans 8:4). God's gift of grace which we receive by faith is for obedience so that the righteousness of God's Law is fulfilled and established in the life of the believer as God writes his Law of Love in us so that we can follow him (Romans 1:5; Romans 8:4; Romans 3:31). This is why it is also written; For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. (Romans 13:9-10). This is why Jesus says If you love me keep my commandments" and If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." (John 14:15; 15:10) In the new Covenant God's Law (10 commandments) the point out sin and the wages of sin being death to the Unbeliever are now God's promises of salvation to the believer as they have complete dependence and faith on the Word of God to do what it says it will do. (2 Peter 1:4).

Jeremiah 31:33, “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’yl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah (Instructions/Laws) in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Strength, and they shall be My people.”

Hebrews 10:16, “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them.”

John 16:13, "“But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come."

Galatians 5:16, "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not perform the lust of the flesh."

1 Corinthians 2:10-14, "But YHWH has revealed this to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit of YHWH searches all things, yes, the deep things of YHWH. On this earth we have to have faith,hope,and charity,but the greatest of these is charity.Charity overrides everything in importance,and out of all we did on earth,charity is the only thing that will continue for all eternity,for faith,and hope,are only needed in this world,not in heaven.

Charity is so important that if we do not possess it in the truth,then all else we do,and believe,is null and void,and does not apply in our life.

Paul said he could have faith to remove mountains,and bestow all his goods to the poor,but without charity he is nothing.

Charity is so strict that we can love many people,and feed them until their bellies pop out,and clothe them,and preach the Gospel here and there,but if we hate one person,and will not forgive them,or refuse to follow peace with them,then all we did was in vain as far as our spirituality,because it was not vain for those we did help.

The Bible says follow peace with all men,with holiness,without which no person shall see the Lord,which some do not understand what that holiness means,but God said,be ye holy,for I am holy,which is a very good indication to hate sin,do not want sin,and allow the Spirit to lead you to abstain from sin,for do people think God's holiness sins,for it does not.

Jesus said thy will be done on earth as in heaven,and are the angels in heaven sinning,but they are not,and the ones that did got kicked out,so that is the way it should be done on earth too.

Charity does not think an evil thought,and abstains from sin by the Spirit,and helps the poor and needy.

We follow the 2 greatest commandments,love God,and love people.

Charity is greater than faith.We must have charity in the truth,before faith can apply.

Which the Bible says we are saved by faith through the works of love,so love comes first before faith can apply.

The Bible says we are saved by grace through faith,so proper faith has to come before grace can apply.

We have to have love in the truth,before faith can apply,which faith will show works of charity,love in action,the proper faith,before grace can apply.

And the reason that this is important is because there are many people who say faith alone,but lack charity,and you can see it in their lifestyle,for we are only to go by our needs,and to help other people with their needs,and you hear these people gossip about people,run people down,and have worldliness about them,which is a lack of love,but they say faith alone,and sin does not affect our relationship with God.

But charity is greater than faith,so if they do not have charity then faith means nothing.

That is what James pointed out that if a brother,or sister,has need of clothing,and food,and you say be ye warmed,and filled,but do nothing to help them,then your faith is dead.

John said if you say I love you,and do nothing to help the poor and needy,then the love of God does not dwell in you,for love not in word only,but in deed and in truth.

James is pointing out works of love towards people,that if we lack helping people if we have the means to do so then our faith is dead.

Love not the world,or the things in the world,and if you do you are not of the Father.

If a person preaches the prosperity Gospel from such withdraw yourself,having food,and clothing,be content.

Love does not think an evil thought,and does not sin by the Spirit.

Love works no ill towards their neighbor,and helps them with their needs,and does not even hate their enemies.

We follow the 2 greatest commandments,love God,and love people.

God hates sin,and sin separates us from God whether we confess Christ,or not,and God wants us to abstain from sin by the Spirit,which Paul said we establish the law,which is spiritual,holy,just,and good,the moral laws,laws of love,which we abstain from fleshy pleasures that war against the soul,and put aside every weight of sin that so easily besets us,and do no harm to people,which the ten commandments are love towards God,and people,and Paul said,awake to righteousness,and sin not,but some do not have the knowledge of God,which he speaks that to their shame.

Love God.

Follow peace with all people,and holiness,without which no person shall see the Lord,love works no ill towards their neighbor,therefore love is the fulfilling of the law,help people with their needs whatever that may be.

Love people.

Love does not sin by the Spirit,and helps the poor and needy.

But there are people that neglect this,and say faith alone,but their faith does not mean anything,because charity is greater than faith.

An example is a man they call million dollar Mike,stingy with money like a big dog,and owns his own cement business,which he goes to Church and believes faith alone,but he heaps money to himself and neglects the poor,and rips off his customers of the jobs he does by disregarding code to cut corners,and save money,and rips them off on the thickness of the cement,charging them for 4 inches thick of cement,but only giving them 3 and a half,or 3 inches of cement.

But that is not love,and down right bad business to rip people off,and claim to be with God.

That is what the false faith alone doctrine does,it causes a relaxing of how people conduct themselves,and they do not show the proper love to have faith actually apply,but in their mind they think,I am alright,by what they believe that nothing can hinder them from salvation.

And you see it big time with those that believe faith alone of how they love money,and material things,believing the prosperity Gospel,and spending money on their wants,and worldliness,when love not the world,or the things in it,and abstain from fleshy pleasures that war against the soul,and saying sin does not affect their relationship with God.

Which causes hypocrisy like a big dog,and turns people away from Christianity as they say you Christians are hypocrites and we want no part of you.

2Co 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
2Co 6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
2Co 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
2Co 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
2Co 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2Co 6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true.

Don't receive the grace of God in vain,and do not give offense in anything,which hypocrisy causes an offense to the ministry,as they cater to their lusts,and wants,and hold unto sin disappointing the world to shun Christianity.

There is a lack of love among many,but they say faith alone,and the hypocrisy continues,but charity is greater than faith.

If you hate one person,hold unto any sin,and not want to give it up,and cater to your wants,that is not love,but we see,and hear of it like a big dog in America.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

But we see many mingle right on in with those in America,enjoying the worldliness,and wants,and lusts,like the people of the lost sort do.

Charity is greater than faith,and like James said if you do not help people,charity,love in action,then faith cannot save you.

Jesus said thy will be done on earth as in heaven,and are the angels in heaven sinning,but they are not,and the ones that did got kicked out,so that is the way it should be done on earth too.

Charity does not think an evil thought,and abstains from sin by the Spirit,and helps the poor and needy.

We follow the 2 greatest commandments,love God,and love people.

Charity is greater than faith.We must have charity in the truth,before faith can apply.

Which the Bible says we are saved by faith through the works of love,so love comes first before faith can apply.

The Bible says we are saved by grace through faith,so proper faith has to come before grace can apply.

We have to have love in the truth,before faith can apply,which faith will show works of charity,love in action,the proper faith,before grace can apply.

And the reason that this is important is because there are many people who say faith alone,but lack charity,and you can see it in their lifestyle,for we are only to go by our needs,and to help other people with their needs,and you hear these people gossip about people,run people down,and have worldliness about them,which is a lack of love,but they say faith alone,and sin does not affect our relationship with God.

But charity is greater than faith,so if they do not have charity then faith means nothing.

That is what James pointed out that if a brother,or sister,has need of clothing,and food,and you say be ye warmed,and filled,but do nothing to help them,then your faith is dead.

John said if you say I love you,and do nothing to help the poor and needy,then the love of God does not dwell in you,for love not in word only,but in deed and in truth.

James is pointing out works of love towards people,that if we lack helping people if we have the means to do so then our faith is dead.

Love not the world,or the things in the world,and if you do you are not of the Father.

If a person preaches the prosperity Gospel from such withdraw yourself,having food,and clothing,be content.

Love does not think an evil thought,and does not sin by the Spirit.

Love works no ill towards their neighbor,and helps them with their needs,and does not even hate their enemies.

We follow the 2 greatest commandments,love God,and love people.

God hates sin,and sin separates us from God whether we confess Christ,or not,and God wants us to abstain from sin by the Spirit,which Paul said we establish the law,which is spiritual,holy,just,and good,the moral laws,laws of love,which we abstain from fleshy pleasures that war against the soul,and put aside every weight of sin that so easily besets us,and do no harm to people,which the ten commandments are love towards God,and people,and Paul said,awake to righteousness,and sin not,but some do not have the knowledge of God,which he speaks that to their shame.

Love God.

Follow peace with all people,and holiness,without which no person shall see the Lord,love works no ill towards their neighbor,therefore love is the fulfilling of the law,help people with their needs whatever that may be.

Love people.

Love does not sin by the Spirit,and helps the poor and needy.

But there are people that neglect this,and say faith alone,but their faith does not mean anything,because charity is greater than faith.

An example is a man they call million dollar Mike,stingy with money like a big dog,and owns his own cement business,which he goes to Church and believes faith alone,but he heaps money to himself and neglects the poor,and rips off his customers of the jobs he does by disregarding code to cut corners,and save money,and rips them off on the thickness of the cement,charging them for 4 inches thick of cement,but only giving them 3 and a half,or 3 inches of cement.

But that is not love,and down right bad business to rip people off,and claim to be with God.

That is what the false faith alone doctrine does,it causes a relaxing of how people conduct themselves,and they do not show the proper love to have faith actually apply,but in their mind they think,I am alright,by what they believe that nothing can hinder them from salvation.

And you see it big time with those that believe faith alone of how they love money,and material things,believing the prosperity Gospel,and spending money on their wants,and worldliness,when love not the world,or the things in it,and abstain from fleshy pleasures that war against the soul,and saying sin does not affect their relationship with God.

Which causes hypocrisy like a big dog,and turns people away from Christianity as they say you Christians are hypocrites and we want no part of you.

2Co 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
2Co 6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
2Co 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
2Co 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
2Co 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2Co 6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true.

Don't receive the grace of God in vain,and do not give offense in anything,which hypocrisy causes an offense to the ministry,as they cater to their lusts,and wants,and hold unto sin disappointing the world to shun Christianity.

There is a lack of love among many,but they say faith alone,and the hypocrisy continues,but charity is greater than faith.

If you hate one person,hold unto any sin,and not want to give it up,and cater to your wants,that is not love,but we see,and hear of it like a big dog in America.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

But we see many mingle right on in with those in America,enjoying the worldliness,and wants,and lusts,like the people of the lost sort do.

Charity is greater than faith,and like James said if you do not help people,charity,love in action,then faith cannot save you.

Love is indeed greater then all. Jesus says, I know you that you do not have the love of God in you. It is only as we have faith in His Word that he changes us to love, because without him we cannot (Heb 8:10-12). Love is truly greater then all. We find it as we find him in His Word. It is only be believing His Word that he changes us to love as he first loved us...

God’s Word says: LOVE is the fulfilling of God’s Law (10 commandments)

No one can keep the letter of the Law because all God’s Law does is to point out Sin (1 John 3:4). It is our mirror that shows us our condition and that all our own righteousness is as filthy rags (James 1:22-25; Isaiah 64:6). It is our teacher to bring us to Jesus so that we can have salvation by faith in God’s Word alone because there is nothing that we can do in our own strength to save ourselves. It is a gift of God lest any man shall boast (Romans 6:23). It is God’s Law that brings us to Jesus (Galatians 3:24). He has not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance (Matthew 9:13).

LOVE is the fulfilling of God’s Law In us who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit;

Love is in-deed the fulfilling of God’s Law. This is the promise of the New Covenant. Spoken about by God in the Old Testament and repeated in the New.

Ezekiel 36:26-27,
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh and I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Jeremiah 31:33-34,
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Hebrews 8:10-12,
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people and they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

So now under the new covenant when God changes our heart; we will love God and our neighbor.

if we love God we will not murder
if we love God we will not commit adultery
if we love God we will not lie
if we love God we will honor our parents
if we love God we will not covet
if we love God we will have no other gods except our God who loves us
if we love God we will not make unto any idols
if we love God we will not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain
if we love God we will Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy as he asked us to!

God’s Law has always been central to both the Old and the New Covenant. It is only by the operation of God as we have Faith in His Word that God changes our hearts so that we can love him and love our neighbor that we can walk in his ways. This is why Jesus says its only if you love me we can keep hid commandments (John 14:15)

Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Psalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Psalms 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Love is the fulfilling of the God’s Law. I love Jesus and want to follow Him how about you

If we are knowingly and willfully breaking any of God’s Laws however we are sinning against God. Sin is the transgression of God’s Law and God’s Word tells us that if we continue in sin the wages of sin is death (1 John 3:4; Rom 6:23). If we choose to follow the teachings and traditions of man over the Word of God then we are unbelievers in God’s Word.

Sunday Worship is a teaching and tradition of man breaking God’s Law which has no basis in God’s Word. The question remains who do we really follow God or Man? This is the great test that will come to each of us. God’s sheep hear his voice… He that has ears to hear let him hear (Matt 11:15) If we say that we know Jesus and are breaking His commandments God’s Word says we are lying and the truth is not in us (1 John 2:3-4)

God's Own Love is a Holy Love, unlike anything else in the earth.

God knows that He can only accept perfection (His own Glory). It was sufficient for just one of Us (Adam) to fail and transgress in a single point in time for the whole human race to be plunged into darkness, eternally alienated from God.

Romans 5:12
"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned"

Nevertheless God chose to Redeem and save Us. In doing so He could not & never will contradict His Own Nature of Holiness and Love(Mercy). They go hand in hand. One cannot be at the expense of the other, to do so He would have to stop being God. Which is impossible for God!

St James says in James 2:10
"For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it"

Apostle Paul declared by revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Gal 3:10
"For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

The meaning here is that for God to accept anyone He must see All His Holy Law being "kept".
But kept not as we see it, but as He sees it, From His point of view. "

"Kept" "Keep" "Do" "perform" from God's perspective and meaning means "Ever" "Continually" "Continuing" as in
a "Present Continuous" tense. Never stopping for one instance. Perfect. The alternative is only Broken Law.

Jesus said,
Mt 5:48
"ye shall therefore be perfect, as your Father who is in the heavens is perfect"

The one who can do this, God will Justify and accept and pour out His Love and Mercy on.

Rom 2:13
"For it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be declared righteous."

Ezekiel 20:11
"and I gave them my statutes and declared unto them my rights, by which the man that does them shall live (be justified) by
them"

Lev 18:4-5
"4‘You are to perform My judgments and keep My statutes, to live in accord with them; I am the LORD your God. 5‘So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, by which a man may live if he does them; I am the LORD."

We are unable to do this.....We don't have God's Nature
We are unable to do this. The Law (that should never have been broken) WAS already broken by Us All
in Adam.

In our condition we cannot in a present continuous state "keep" or "perform" or "Do" God's Holy Law as He desires

Not only this but, the One who manages to do this will also have to now pay the price for God's Broken Law and obviously not sin even in suffering, in order to completely fulfill and obey His Law and put away sin in the


Gods Holy Nature deems then that He Justly punish sin and the sinner.

On the other hand God's Love and Mercy deems that He forgive sin and hence the sinner of his transgressions.

God is absolute and always without a shadow of turning acts in accord with His perfect Nature.

God in His Wisdom and Love sent His only Begotten Son Jesus.

God Himself in the Person of His Son absorbed and exhausted His Infinite Wrath against Sin and unrighteousness. Jesus took it for Us so that the punishment of sin was truly exhausted on Him.

God could only now be free to Love and forgive in a Just and Righteous manner man's sins. That is, to Truly Love without contradiction of His Holy Character. True Love.

This is what the Substitutionary death of Jesus (The God-Man) did.

This is is why Apostle Paul could say I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto Salvation. Rom 1:16

This is "The Cross of Christ"

Once this was completed, reparation was made by Jesus and God raised Him from the dead. death Could not keep Him down.
There was no legal right anymore and He spoiled wicked principalities and powers.

No one is really tempted to be ashamed of a glorious resurrección. It's an awesome sign...!

But there is all the temptation to be ashamed of a Crucifixion. Rom 1:16.

All the Law and commandments were fulfilled Once for all by the glorious death of Christ Jesus on the Cross

They were Eternally upheld and God was exhonerated His Holy Love being upheld.

When we have Faith from the heart and let it Rest there in this once for all finished work of Christ in His death and as a result His resurrection. We fulfill only then the Law as God wants us to do that His Love and blessings may come on Us.

This is what is meant by the Finished Work of the Cross that God calls Us to Trust emphatically.

It's Where Truth (we are sinners deserving of Gods Just punishment) and His Love(God Forgives Us only on the basis of the Finished Work of The Cross) meet together as one.

God's Law is Continuous in accord with His Eternal Nature. We cannot as it is, continually keep the Sabbath for example, we cannot continuously honour our parents. The best of Us do it in part only. We are insufficient therefore in ourselves before a Holy Righteous God.

It's only by Faith, simple trust, in the Completed and Finished (ever on-going) Work of Christ on the Cross that we "keep" Gods Law in a Truthful manner.

Rom 3:21
"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law"

Void means "to no purpose" "make ineffectual, of no power!"
Establish means "to make effectual & strong"

Faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross is the only way anyone can put into effect God's Holy Law in their lives.
Faith is of the Heart, The Spirit. By continued Faith & Trust on that Finished Work of Christ on The Cross, God Himself will ensure that He by His Holy Spirit Write His Law on the tablet of your heart.

THE FIRST LIE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN IS THE FALSE GOSPEL

Let's start at John and at the beginning of Genesis 3 (this may be too long a study but let's try and make it shorter there are a lot of conencting scripture which I may add a few here only)

Let's start here with the father of lies......

John 8
44, Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: FOR HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF IT.

The Devil is the Father of LIES those that do not FOLLOW God follow their Father the devil and the deeds of their father they will do.

5, For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL. < Prior to DISOBEYING God Mankind DID NOT KNOW what EVIL (SIN) was because they were in HARMONY and OBEDIENT to God's WORD>

6, And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

7, And THE EYES OF THEM WERE OPENED, AND THEY KNEW THAT THEY WERE NAKED; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. <God's LAW is the KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS; When they SINNED they now had the KNOWLEDGE of both GOOD and EVIL; Romans 3:20; 7:7; James 2:11; 1 John 3:4; Ps 119:172;>

The saw that they were naked and tried to cover themselves with figleaves; SIN took away their RIGHTEOUSNESS and now they are guilty before God in SIN; NAKED before God in SIN trying to cover themselves with figleaves (flithy rags) Isaiah 63:6; Righteousness to cover our nakedness only from God; Luke 15:22; If we SIN we lose it; Romans 3:19 >

8, And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9, And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10, And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11, And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Key points and putting it all together..........

The Serpent and father of LIES is the Devil he lied to MANKIND from the beginning. God's Commandment to Adam and Eve was NOT to eat of the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL (SIN AND RIGHTESOUNESS) lest you DIE. Adam and Eve did not have the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL (SIN AND RIGHTESOUNESS) because they had NEVER SINNED and where in HARMONY with God in OBEDIENCE to HIS WORD.

THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL REPRESENTS GOD's Commandments. The TAKING THE FRUIT symbolizes BREAKING the TREE and DISOBEYING God's Commandment NOT TO EAT the FRUIT lest you DIE is UNBELIEF in God's WORD.

THIS IS A WARNING FOR US TODAY. THE same LIE told to ADAM and EVE is being repeated in the mainstream Churches of today.

SIN is the transgression of GOD'S LAW and if anyone CONTINUES in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN; God's WORD says they will DIE and not ENTER THE KINGDOM of HEAVEN because they have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-27; 6:4-8; Matthew 7:12-23)

It is only by partaking of the TREE of LIFE (BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING God's Word by LOVE) through FAITH that Gods FRUITS of OBEDIENCE are seen in the life of God's true people (1 John 3:3-10; Revelation 12:17; 14:12; 22:14) and is why Jesus says if you LOVE me keep my commandments ( John 14:15; 15:10)

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin and eating of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil when God has asked us not to eat of it (Genesis 3: 1-11; James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)
