I didn't think Mary was more powerful than God when I was RC either. But nobody will listen to us, we're just ex-Catholics.
I'm Former Catholic, 9 years in Catholic Schools taught by nuns, Altar Boy 5 years, was
Fully indoctinated AKA Brainwashed.
Here is the real truth about the Mother of Jesus.
1.. She is called "The Mother of God" when Hebrews 7 v 3 tells us God never had a Mom and Dad nor beginning nor end

2.. The RCC claims was born Sinless. The Bible clearly tells us Jesus Christ was the only one ever born, who was sinless.

In Fact Mary herself declared the following:
Luke 2 verse 47: Ma
ry stated. "And my Spirit has rejoiced in GOD MY SAVIOR" Why would she need a "Savior" if she was born sinless???

They taught us in Cafholuc School Mary Ascended to heaven. Every August 15th they celebrate "The Feast of the Assumption"
This verse clarifies she never Ascended to heaven: John 3 verse 13: "And NO MAN hath ascendverse

to heaven, EVEN THE SON OF MAN WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. "

Then The Catholic Church teaches that Mary was a perpetual Virgin.
But.. Mary was engaged to Joseph. she indeed held up normal Marital relations until after Jesus was born... HOWEVER.. Mary had at least 6 more children.. Read this in the KJV:
Matthew 13 verses 55 & 56 KJV
There is a lot more!

Sometimes I agree with the criticisms against RCism, sometimes I don't.
I have no problem with the criticisms against RCism (or Mormonism, or Judaism, or atheism, or any other ism). But it would be a disservice to allow false information to go out unanswered.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Actually the Roman Catholic Church teaches and believes we need to go through Mary to reach God.

John 14:6
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

The Roman Catholic Church does Worship Mary as their God.

The Roman Catholic Church has made Mary equal to and above God!

Either your a liar Talishi or you never looked closely into exactly what the Roman Catholic Church taught.

Soooo, you are saying Mary is not revered as Co Redeemer as Jesus??

The Philippines is a very Catholic Nation, like 80%+. When I was a missionary there years ago: They had a huge Billboard sign in Downtown Manila in 1999.That stated:"Unto The year 2000 with JESUS AND MARY" For real.

On the contrary, it is written:

CCC 213 The revelation of the ineffable name "I AM WHO AM" contains then the truth that God alone IS. the Greek Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, and following it the Church's Tradition, understood the divine name in this sense: God is the fullness of Being and of every perfection, without origin and without end. All creatures receive all that they are and have from him; but he alone is his very being, and he is of himself everything that he is.

This is what the Roman Catholic Church teaches about Mary.

According to Roman Catholicism, Mary is "the all-holy ever-virgin Mother of God" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, hereafter referred to as "CCC" 721)

the "Queen over all things" (CCC 966)

our "Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix" (CCC 969)

who is "full of grace" (CCC 722)

the "Mother of God and our mother" (CCC 2677)

the "new Eve" (CCC 726), and the "seat of wisdom" (CCC 721).

She had no original sin (CCC 508), and never committed sin (CCC 493). She is second only to her Son" (Vatican II, Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, par. 66) and sits "on the right hand of the majesty on high" (Pope Pius X, Ad Diem Illum Laetissimum, 14).

In fact, "no man goeth to Christ but by His Mother" (Pope Leo 13th, Octobri Mense).

It was Mary who "crushed the poisonous head of the most cruel serpent and brought salvation to the world" (Pope Pius IX, Ineffabilis Deus). It is she who "delivers our souls from death" (CCC 966), and "continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation" (CCC 969). "Mary, by her spiritual entering into the sacrifice of her divine son for men, made atonement for the sins of man," (Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma4, Ott, page 213). Therefore, we can "entrust all our cares and petitions to her" (CCC 2677), "give ourselves over to her now" (CCC 2677), "pray to her" (CCC 2679), and have devotion to her (CCC 971). She was "taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven" (CCC 974). When speaking of the Church, "we can find no better way to conclude than by looking to Mary," (CCC 972). In her, the church is holy (CCC 867). "Mary is the Church's model of faith and charity" (CCC 967). Finally, in paradise the church gathers "around Jesus and Mary" (CCC 1053).

The Rosary itself tells us who the Vatican and RCC think is most Important whom to pray unto
The Lord's Prayer was taught by Jesus himself to his Apostles. Yet, on a Catholic Rosary For every "Our Father/Lord's Prayer" Catholics pray on the rosary.. There are 10... 10.. "Hail Mary's" so according to that right there she is 10 to 1 more important to pray unto.

How many practicing Catholics on this Web Site are fully aware of this fact: The Vatican is A Soverign Nation like The U. S. France and England etc are as well? This means they can vote on any World Issue, and are in fact a full voting member of the UN. The Word of God teaches " LOVE NOT THE WORLD, Neither the things of the World. If ANY MAN Loveth the World, The love of the Father, is not in him"
