DarkVoid, here's what I think. Have you ever seen an elaborate cake get decorated. First you mix the the batter then bake it. Then it's too hot to decorate so you wait for it to cool. Then you put on one layer at a time while rotating on a pedistle. You can't do the third layer before the first and so on. I picture God as the world he created rotated applying one layer at a time in the proper sequence, enjoying the masterpiece he was creating. He is patient and that's why it wasn't a rush job. When you have an eternity what's the hurry?

I don't know if you are an artist , but I am and when I design something I take my time, think about what it is I want to say to those who see my work because I care aabout what and how I design. If my name is on a piece it needs to be the best I can be. It takes effort on my part to accomplish this. Don't you think that God wanted His creation to be His best and I think considering His creation, a week is a very short time. I realize you are young and maybe ignorant ,but I need to ask you if you are saved. The questions you ask seem to be coming from someone who don't know the Lord. I am new to this chat so I don't know too much about it , but I am learning. hope to hear an answer from you.

Hey Dark Void,
I think I was in the same place you are in now. I have a Ph.D. in philosophy. I was bogged down in arguments. I saw contradictions, nothing seemed to make sense. I could not bring myself to have faith or trust. I became pretty viciously atheistic actually. Then literally out of nowhere, I had a spiritual battle with a demon. God rescued me and then He was immediately present to me and bathed me in His love. I cannot explain this by any logic, reason, or arguments. I had a true conversion experience. Without it, I still might be this vicious atheist. Now I know 100% that God exists, that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He died for my sins. I have absolutely no doubt about it. My philosophy students are pretty blown away when they remember my old self and what I have now become. Pretty awesome stuff.
Well i'm not atheist.

and a simple encounter with a demon won't convince me...

I've encountered them multiple times. even seen them believe it or not.

Ghosts, demons, evil spirits, (whatever you wanna call them) they are all too real for me...

Never received any help from "god" before though...that would be new.

Well, you had asked why the Bible was written the way it was testifying of God and so that alone disproves the evolution theory because God cannot call anything good if it was still in the process of being something else.
If he is "all-knowing" then i guess maybe he knew what it would become?

why don't you trust people?

most children are rather trusting until the world gives them a reason not to be.

humans are born without the ability to survive unless they have at least on person who loves them enough to feed and care for them for at least the first few years of their lives.
well let's just say i learned that trust only ends in betrayal or loss, at least for me...

so i decided to only trust myself, then i learned i can't even trust myself about half of the time.

one of my many mottos: Everything that sounds good is a lie and everything that sounds bad is true, until proven otherwise. (that way you can't be hurt unexpectedly)

to live life always expecting to be victimized is truly sad.

I will pray that God heals you and you learn what it means to have His love and His joy in your heart.

Wish i had an eternity to make decisions...and since i'm not all-knowing i need that time even more lol

Funny if he would put so much effort into something that is only temporary... what's the point? we get all new stuff in "heaven" anyway...

well, nonicknametouse, your guess is right, i'm not "saved" and welcome to the site by the way.

I realize you are young and maybe ignorant
Please don't say that -.-

I wish you would not associate me with my age. Age is nothing, perception is everything.
No, age is very much a part of things. Perception is good, but so limited without testing and several experiences.
In fact alot of people are perceiving things wrong because they dont have a clue on the facts.

Find the old book called "flatlanders"

Anyone (and I mean anyone) can be deceived by angels of light (demons) if they don't know Christ, his love and aren't steeped in his Word. Even Christians are told to vigilant and to watch out for false prophets and beings.

well of course knowledge and experience are a part of perception...

but age does not always have a bearing on knowledge and experience, that's individual circumstances and people...

DarkVoid, I have a question for you. The mathematical probability that all life came from a big bang is pretty much zero. You must have been thinking about it for some time. I think you've come to the right answer but you're afraid to trust and be wrong. I honestly think God is calling your name and that's why you'd ask these questions in the first place. If you do decide to accept Jesus gift of salvation know this. Christianity isn't for sissies. I'm not saying you are, I'm just letting you know. We don't get everything we ask for, only what we need to accomplish His purpose. Often we will be discouraged and depressed. That doesn't mean God isn't there and that He doesn't love us. Sometimes it feels like we're dropped in the wilderness to survive on our own, just to make us stronger. We battle against demons and even against our own carnal nature. We are made fun of and laughed at. So why would we do it? Because we all know that this temporary struggle will end in an eternal celebration with a Lord who loved us enough die for us. Oh yeah, my question, are you ready? Are you ready to accept there is a God who loves you and wants you to know Him? Or are you ready to die only to find out its too late?

Darkvoid, Good day to you...
I am one person that CHALLENGED God to SHOW me that He is real... Guess who lost?
I would just want to congractulate God on the WISDOM (Godly Wisdom) He already taught you...

First you say... You trust no man.... GOOD! God advises us not to put our trust in MAN, but in HIM. So you are halfway to obey God already.... And you did not even KNOW that!

Secondly... You say age does not matter, and God also said to two young men that they should not allow other to hold their YOUNG AGE against their knowledge... But in history the WISEST 12 yearold boy was Jesus! He even impressed the highest qualified people of that time, as a twelve yearold boy.

I will confess one thing to you. EVERYBODY I trusted DROPPED me FLAT. But ONE I trusted for 15 years now HAVE NOT FAILED ME ONCE... Oh it is Jesus! I trust him with EVERYTHING I got. Yet He did not dissapoint even ONCE.

I just hope you also have the great experince of a relationship with Him. And He is even more real to me than you are. I hope you do the other part of the trust... Trust Jesus to be one day calling you BROTHER, and He will not be ashamed to do so.

Well yea I know about the probability but that does not rule out the possibility no matter how small.

And right now I see the probability that god does not care as a lot higher than the probability that he does...

Well I admit its possible he cares...but I see that possibility about as probable as the big bang...

And since I see the chances of me being taken for a fool as much higher, well, there's your answer.

Well I think it was just the circumstances in my life plus my own nature that gave me that "wisdom"

But thanks for the advice.

I have also thought that maybe "god" plays favorites.

Like mayb he cares about "fred" but not "frank"

So mayb he cares about you but not me?

Certainly seems like that could be a possibility...

Well a god could have created the bacterium (or watever) that evolved into us.

so evolution does not disprove a god. but it may disprove the god of the bible...
Gen 2:7 KJV - And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
