It is so good of you to share your opinion. You know nothing of others' hearts, yet you speak for them,

The Holy Spirit begins to cleanse the soul of his children and through that process, He is reveals all truth about the hearts of others. what is in others hearts. It is called insight.
this is pretty much all the proof anyone could want that you have a serious problem. No human being can know another person's heart. Only God can. The Holy Spirit does not impart this knowledge to you or anyone else. Jesus taught that we can only judge another by their fruits/works........and He surely taught that we are NOT to judge another persons heart.

You do have a serious problem, I pray that while the Holy Spirit is "imparting" all this "insight" to you, that He cares enough to bring you into realization of your problem.

Heres my view on the process of salvation. The gospel is preached in some shape form or fashion. A person hears it and faith is stirred and they accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Then they are saved. Sanctification is a different story but still based on faith in the work of the cross and nothing else. What else is there?
Kerry AGAIN show me ONE person, just ONE that accepted Jesus as Saviour.... In the Bible that is. Your understanding is so anti-christ it is really a bad doctrine. Not ONE person, EVER chose God, God cise him or her. We did not accept God, if we listen to Him HE WILL ACCEPT US!

How do we listen.... REPENT (turn from and stop doing ALL sin) and be baptized (and God will accept you and will give you the gift of the Holy Spirit)... Repent is to stop sin as GOD LEADS TO BAPTISM... God CANNOT fill a dirty person, he has to be baptixed in the BLOOD of Jesus. That is the all cleansing power of one baptism that burns away ALL sin of a SAINT. And the very next moment when the SAINT comes ot of the Blood, he is perfected by the Holy Ghost that fills hin.

The Blood is the FIRE BAPTISM that burns all SIN AND OLD MAN AWAY, and the Holy Ghost fills the NEW MAN to be a NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST JESUS, AND CHRIST JESUS IN HIM... That is what is means by repent and be baptized....

Good thoughts and discussion in this thread. By posting a reference to Systematic Theology, I am in no wise implying that salvation is a checklist or merit badge or name-it, claim-it, ABC, 123 sort of system. Systematic Theology is rather a sort of after-the fact understanding of a sequence of events that occurs in the hearts and minds of people as they come to enlightenment. For most, the study of Systematic Theology does not (or should not) come until after they have are in the process of experiencing a coming to a saving knowledge, a heart of repentance, a mindset of right living, and a seeking after the path of The Way. In fact, Bible College for perhaps way too many becomes such a merit-badge/checklist system, and we end up with a generation of business minded preachers winning souls like selling McDonald's Hamburgers.

Systematic Theology for the believer then simply puts a person on a path of deeper and fuller understanding, of how to read, interpret, understand, apply, and later, - to share with others in a very careful way, the process of enlightenment and the path of sanctification.

IF you are truly ONLY 15, then let me say YOU are well on your way to achieving a good and faithful understanding of the Word of God, and good for you! :)

As for water baptism, it is not necessary for salvation, and you are correct in that there are times when a new believer can not be water baptized, but they will still receive their reward, times such as a "death bed or battlefield" conversion. However, do not lose sight of the fact that water baptism is important for all new believers to do because there is a reason. If you reread the OP, you will see the reason(s) I discussed.

God bless, and hold strong to the Faith.
16 tomorrow! I see what you are saying! God bless you too!

Chatter, if you are not reading the Bible you are not being fed. The Holy Spirit speaks through the Word of God. You are missing the most important part of our Christian walk and you will be easily led astray, as I believe your posts show!

Daily Bible reading is essential to any Christian. And the Holy Spirit makes it alive and real every single time you read it. I've read the Bible every year for 33 years, and still learning from it and growing!
My dear Angela, I f you look around you will hear a lot of scripture using it in vain. I hear no spiritual understanding. Just quoting scripture is useless without the understanding straight from the Holy Spirit and it is always refreshing, not stale as I see around here.
So, please do it your way and I will do it God's way.
Thank you

Well, this is what causes lack of spiritual knowledge. One who cannot understand that God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit, is being mislead by intellectualism and overloading the mind with too much study of the scripture. A quiet mind is capable of hearing God's voice. "Be still and know God". That is a scripture you have missed to understand with all your reading.
Sir, it is you who has the problem, not I, you are projecting.
I know others hearts whether I know them or not, because I am aware. Learn about your fallen self and overcome it and you too may one day see where another is coming from. We learn from experience, not from reading verse and chapter, but from self understanding that God reveals.

Of course God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit, no one here has said any different. And I strongly suggest you read your comment again, study on it, and then seriously considering taking your own advice......

All I can do is pray for you...........anyone who dismisses the written Word of God dismisses God. It really is that simple.

So, who exactly is teaching systematic theology? What church/organization teaches this?

As for the "bowing and praying to a McDonald's figure," IF that was aimed at Christians, well, no need to respond.

Thankfully, Christianity and "religion" have little - IF ANYTHING - in common.

No thank you. and I don't want to change a word of it.
I've got news for you. I understand scripture more than you do, but, I don't wear it on my sleeve to sound religious. I don't study it either. You have no idea how many things I have overcome. Resentment and anger were the first it happened after I had an exorcism over 40 years ago.
The mystery found me. "Be still and know God".
I live it and breath it.
Thanks for your concern.
